Almighty God decreed the destruction of every living thing in some tribal cases.

They were wholesale given to such horrific things as child sacrifice--offering their children to Molach in a firey torturous death to the children.

Evidently the demonic attachment to the families and people was so great, God didn't want any hint or remnant of such horrific connections left around.

BTW, when in your first 25 years did you acquire such hostility to the Bible, God and Christianity?

What bad experiences precipitated such a death grip on such hostility?

Moloch was God worshipped by several societies around the Med and it isn't even proven that Child sacrifice was practiced. The only sources being Roman from after they conquered and took Carthage, one of the main centres of Moloch worship and they certainly had a vested interest in paiting the Carthaginians as evil bastards so they could sell the war they had prosecuted to their people.

God didn't do anything about anyone worshipping Moloch, certainly not in real history. In the Bible, however, he killed a guys family, his servants and destroyed his crops and animals all to prove a point to Satan.. So the original point stands, the God of the Old testament thought nothing about killing children himself...

The other thing that irks me about this thread is the OP, yourself and others all making wild claims, provide no evidence and when challenged, merely adopt a pretentious know-it-all attitude while at the same time telling us to do the research...

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. YOU make the claims, YOU back them up.

Oh and another thing, the person who said A Crowley was into child murder and stuff obviously knows nothing about the man, his writing style or the language of the times in which it was written. Your not meant to take his work litterally, it was all veiled references masked behind "shocking" language..

Sincerely, tired of hearing your religious guff

Which I'm sure is exactly what some partakers of the satanist religion do..especially on halloween.

Yeah, and Christian priests do it the rest of the year.

A Christian Priest has never raped a child. People who call themselves Christians and commit acts such as these cut themselves off from Christianity. Don't you know that the best way to attack an organization is from the inside, there is no person past or present who lives in Christ who is guilty of these things

Excuse me from straying off topic, but I just couldn't help it, based upon your comments. As I child I was raped, and so was my brother, and many of our friends, by a friendly old man, and you can guess it ..... A priest of the local protestant church, and yet, the very next morning he would stand oh so mighty on his pulpit and preach love and all that # ..... (and he wasn't a catholic priest either) ...... and even to this day most old people in that pur and holy community (my ass!!!!) (who were too old to be molested by the bastard) still thinks he was as holy as #..... but heck, could he preach!!!!!! all in the name of the one and holy god, and his son, and the holy ghost.....
No wonder I found my pagan roots, and rather have a peaceful Samhein than following your god ......

I completely understand. Some of it hits really close to home and is absolutely heartbreaking. When it gets to be too much I just remember back to the days when I wish that someone had been there for me. Thanks for the reply back! Very nice to meet you.

You sir are living in a delusional fantasy land.
You may not want to believe that a man of the cloth would do such a thing.
But it has happened.
Repeatedly with many of the rapists being moved from one church to another.

You insult those that have been raped by priests.

And you bring up a memory from when I was twelve and attending a Baptist church, my step father was baptist we are roman catholic.
One of the missionaries that was staying at the church and I were having a conversation about the church.
He told me that he was in seminary studying to be a Pastor but he quit. When I asked him what prompted him to quit. He said he didn't agree with some of the things he saw the other students doing. Not natural.
Which I later came to understand many of his fellow students were homosexual.

.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh . . .

I gather that with

SPECIAL PONTIFICAL DISPENSATIONS

from the RELIGION OF SCIENTISM

or

THE RELIGION OF ATHEISM

or

THE RELIGION OF AGNOSTICISM

or

THE RELIGION OF NIHLISM

that others are just expected to put up with your religious perspectives flooding all your posts and smile sweetly in the process . . .

just because

you expect it?

. . .

Color me underwhelmed by your expectations.

Quite a number of Christians on ATS quite reasonably approach all of life from our perspective, our cosmology.

Like everyone else's cosmologies and perspectives,

OURS TOO

reflects OUR cosmology.

It's mystifying to try and understand where this mind-set comes from that Christians are supposed to stuff their realities in a hole while everyone else on ATS are invited, indeed quite free to spew their cosmologies and perspectives in every post on every thread, regardless.

Ain't double standards wonderful!

LOL.

THIS PARTICULAR TOPIC IS INHERENTLY RELIGIOUS IN NATURE! DOH!

Satanic ritual abuse could hardly be MORE RELIGIOUS. That's at an extreme end and extreme intensity of RELIGIOUS BEHAVIOR.

BTW, my PhD in Clinical Psych was in the middle of such values issues.

Perhaps we could take up a collection and have some scroll and page down buttons installed on the keyboards of those allergic

to RELIGIOUS perspectives NOT THEIR OWN.

Sheesh.

1. I fiercely disagree with your assertions.

2. I'm not convinced we share enough common vocabulary and certainly not enough common experience to have a meaningful dialogue.

You can disagree all you like, doesn't make you right though. Exactly what is it you disagree with? My disputing of your claims of God and Moloch? Or my requests that those who make claims need to back them up rather than become overly pretentious and end up just spouting non-sensical rubbish in a desperate attempt to sound knowledgeable but actually not saying much at all?

Wow, more pretention, which I find ironic as you display pretty poor grammar and spelling which would lead me to conclude that yes, we don't share enough of a common vocabulary and therefore probably couldn't have a meaningful debate.

Not withstanding that your post above this one contains nothing of any note but just seeks to deride those who wish to see proof and makes assumptions about the belief systems of those who disagree with you.

This is made even more perplexing as you said you had a Phd. For someone with that level of education you think it would be easy for you to communicate exactly what you mean to say and be able to provide evidence to back up your claims.

As it stands, you have not provided a single piece of evidence in this whole thread and instead have spent your time merely deriding those that won't accept what you say at face value, again, ironic considering you say you have a Phd as you would never get a qualification like that for writing a dissertation based upon hear say and having the reader just believe whatever you right without any supporting evidence.

I am Roman Catholic.
I go to church on special occasions that's about it.

But I don't go blabbing about how my religion is better than your religion or how the Roman Catholic church is the original church and everything else is pretty much a cult as far as I'm concerned.

In any case. The OP is pretty much equating any sort of halloween celebration with devil worship. And that just isn't the case.

Are there bad people on the planet? sure there are. Devil worshipers are out there.
But lumping in everyone who may celebrate on halloween into that category just gets my ire up.

Let's focus on those who may be bad and not chastise everyone else who's just having fun.

It used to be a hard judgment call for me.

Do we put candy out on that night if we're home. Yes.

Actually, this time, we left an open bag of it in the carport with a sign that we weren't home.

We don't get many out here in the county.

Have I gone to church halloween parties in costume? Yes. Got a prize once as a chicken because no one guessed who I was with my tall frame that short in my uncomfortable squat.

HOWEVER . . .

over the decades since . . . Halloween has been morphed into a particularly ghoulish, blood-lust focus on all the horrific symbols one would care to notice from the satanic side of things.

Why would any thinking Spirit-led Christian want to glorify things of satan?

Then there's the spiritual entrapment aspect. Unthinking folks--particularly innocent children get fascinated with the titilating tweaks from evil forces, symbols, themes, personages, demons etc.

Why would a Christian want to be party to any child (or anyone else) being seduced into being demonized through such a route?

Yes, there are abundant narratives of just that happening.

No, I won't look up any refs.

dogpile.com...

works fine for anyone who cares to.

This is a dramatic era of the conclusion of history as we've known it for millenia.

CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE

is one of the hallmark exhortations.

I want nothing to do with encouraging anything that would result in anyone--particularly children being seduced into any level of demonization. Personally, I wouldn't participate even by putting candy out but I'm not the only one who lives here.

Satan is extremely good at hawking evil as

FUN.

FUN is NOT an unqualified criteria of GOOD.

Yet Scripture notes that the pleasures of sin endure for a moment . . . then the consequences are in the pipeline.

I don't know what kind of Halloween you're seeing.
I just dressed up as a pirate. I'd hardly qualify that as being Satanic.
Are there some people that overdo things?
Yeah. But not everyone is doing that.
Again you're lumping in everyone into the whole satanic thing.

What about the people that dress up as police, firemen, astronauts?
Are they being satanic?

I understand where you are coming from, I was the victim of sexual abuse by an older girl who used to babysit me, she was still a minor herself, I can't say it's really the same as your case but it was only later in my life I realised how much those things affected me. Children shouldn't be subjected to or exposed to any type of sexual behaviour or abuse whether by a man or woman. I only recently found out she was repeatedly raped by her father-in-law from the age of 9. I remember some occasions where I might have been the victim of other abusers too.
It's sickeningly scary how many there are out there, I think it's a lot more common than most people think.

My point was merely a person acting in Christ does not commit such acts therefore cannot be considered a Christian although may call themselves one, I may have been a bit hasty in my previous post

I respect you for your honesty it took me a long time to tell people what happened to me.

You and the others that deny the practices obviously haven't educated yourself about satanism. In previous years of my life I have associated myself with others who tried to spread their religious fanaticism on to me. Satan has a way of being very deceptive, and unfortunatly I have no idea how deep they trend for I have cut all ties from them. Most of the teenager skeptics don't have a clue or are not aware of it. And for those of you who are going to educate yourselves now, always KNOW Satan is Very deceptive. The only one truth is the Creator and there is a peace of It inside everyone and all things.

if you can provide a single piece of evidence for this "sacrifice" i would love to see it
reply to post by okamitengu

I have known in my lifetime, a satanist who claims to have been a high priestess who sacrificed babies and a victim of repeated satanic ritual abuse at the hands of her generational satanic family and the Dr's and Politicians they gave her to for said abuse. The victim can name her abusers and to her disdain even now sees them on television whilst they revel in their positions of governmental power. If she was ever impregnated by those satanic abusers (the abuse for her started at a ridiculously young age) she was taken to one of a number of "family" doctors on the payroll.
The "priestess" claims the the babies were born of young abuse victims for the particular sacrificial event, the babies removed, no birth certificate issued, family Dr on the payroll, the child never existed. (Two very different positions in the same satanic religion, probably different groups/sects? And they both reported similar workings) In fact when you think about the connections these people have, it would be laughable at how easy it would be to continue these barbaric practices with impunity. The only evidence we will ever see is when an escaped victim breaks the controls and the fear to speak up and out about these people. This is usually when they are around mid to late 30's, the age when adults begin to question everything and look for the reasons why. Also a known psychological fact that mind control techniques tend to break down then. They do so knowing what they are up against but choose to anyway in the hope that maybe one day they will be able to save a life or lives of the future victims. So again, when a person can testify to what they saw in a court of law and that testimony can aid in the conviction of a criminal, why doubt a person who testifies to ritual abuse and torture that they endured? Just because the perpetrators were not caught in the act does not mean the victim did not suffer at their hands. Often they are bought up in these cults, some believe it's life or normal. These people are connected, careful and organized. Evidence would be covered up as soon as any came to light and buried 6' under just like those sacrificial victims who's blood fills the cups of the deluded blood drinkers.

You keep talking without providing facts. Not what youve read about, not what you think...you were asked to provide specific, credible and proven facts that can be verified to your claim. You are not doing that.
