And if the camp was counter city ordinance? Most cities don't allow this sort of camping.
The Occupy Reno folks got a permit from city hall and REQUESTED police presence. There has been no violence, no lawlessness, and no riots.
The Occupy Reno folks are doing it the right way. They negotiated a spot that was suitable for both the Occupiers and the city. Its not down town, but
it isn't inaccessible.
They're camping out in a rarely used park about 1.5 miles south of downtown Reno. They spoke with the city council to get it done. So far, the Biggest
Little Occupation in the World has managed to do what many other Occupy events could not and have not been willing to do.
And that's work within the law.
