We would have to create special rehabilitation camps to make people realize that a world that is united is better, religion and values would also be taken care of at those camps

That was a joke right? If so, LOL. If not, what is it about proponents of OWG, that they have such a penchant for camps? Let's put anybody who disagrees in camps. That has a familiar ring to it. I wonder if anyone has ever tried it before?

With all due respect, you just haven't done enough research to understand what a New World Order really means. If you truly understood, you wouldn't naively think that a NWO is simply a border issue.

Please do your homework, understand what a NWO really means, and then get back to us. Here are a few things to look up:

Depopulation (as in...they're trying to kill us)
Dominance and control
Enslavement

And if that's not enough to get you started, let me know.

No, thats just a nonsense conspiracy theory
secret meetings are secret...you, me, or anyone else doesn't know what goes on in secret meetings...thats what makes them secret. As far as "whistleblowers" going on speaking tours and writing books..well, the gullible will buy anything.
Georgia Guidestones? frankly, except for the half a billion people, sounds pretty good overall

You know what the scary NWO is? its the current world order...where corporations and banks own everything and the people have absolutely no say whatsoever. I don't mind corporations..they sell stuff, I buy stuff, it works out well..its when they go from just a selling shack to a political entity in itself is when its time to act..this is how the current world order is, and it sucks...it must be changed...and if the people of the world elect individuals to represent and protect them on a local and global scale from this order, then great...one world government

Fact is, the world already is united..just not by governments...by the worst possible element...and they will fight quite hard to keep it the way it is...I say fight for the global government..force it even...demand we create a proper united nations that actually works...come up with a world constitution that protects the rights of individuals, towns, states, and countrys while outlining global order.

Why would I oppose a "One World Government"? Mainly because a local government is always better and large government always makes things worse. Not to mention the cultural difference.

I think we are a couple of hundred years away from when this would even be a reasonable topic. You really believe the huge Muslim population would submit to anything other than a Muslim Theocracy with the entire planet under its rule? Never happen. The war that would ensue would make all other wars in history pale in comparison.

Who decides the nature of this hypothetical government? You? Me? China? Who?

Right, just wanted to chime in on any pro or con religious stuff...just yanked your post as it was in visual range..no offense meant beyond lets not even bring up the topic of religion

in a one world government, or a 1000 governments, you will be able to believe in whatever you want to believe in...no mind police

However, the nations that will oppose this form of thinking will of course be the middle east theocracys...so, perhaps the nwo/united global government may have to exclude them for a few hundred years until they grow out of their medieval stage.

ATS needs more international contributors me thinks. Lately we are getting to many fox news supporters here and it is becoming a little too right wing oriented. Everyone fears the government yet supports religion and capitalism.

Both religion and capitalism is what the NWO is based on. There are very few communist or even socialist countries left on this planet and that alone is enough to prove "the socialist" or "communist" takeover as preposterously imbecilic. You have to live on another planet to believe such nonsense, yet many americans have this paranoia.

I guess daily propaganda from the private media tycoons will make anyone crazy! I choose my words carefully and strongely believe what I say, so please unless you can convince me otherwise consider me an american who has woken up.

Right, well, for now, it will come down to "blocks"...the far east will and should unite with other like minded neighbors, the western world should unite, etc...then a slower merging of somewhat like minded countrys...the far east and the west is actually pretty close in aim and lifestyle...actually, most of the world could unite tomorrow if not for the middle east when you consider it...so ultimately it may come down to two different "countrys"...the islamic theocratic regimes, and the rest of the world...

I don't think we are a couple hundred years away though..perhaps 100 max if things keep going as they are...the internet is a very powerful innovation that has already and will continue to alter the world profoundly and rapidly.

They just change the definition of what socialism and communism is...they obscure reality and suggest hitlers empire was basically centered around maybe food stamps or whatever else them disgusting poor people get...

Corporatist agenda tends to run them and they will believe whatever is programmed in them without question.

Without getting into all of the countless possible outcomes (both positive and negative) of having a one-world government, I honestly think it's the only way for us as a society to "evolve". Either way, there is still going to be all kinds of various advantages and disadvantages, but to me, it just makes more sense. If we ever ARE able to 100% confirm the existence of other intelligent life somewhere out there in the Universe, and we get to the point where we are communicating with each other on a regular basis, it sort of defeats the idea of NOT having a one-world government. Honestly, I don't KNOW if this has ever happened, or if it ever will, but I'm willing to bet that it will at some point in the future. Honestly, it seems as though we already have a one-world government up and running to me. We already have several international organizations up and running such as the United Nations and World Health Organization.

International Organization

I dont think that the majority of People here on ATS or any othe forum would vehemently oppose a single world government no matter what they say right now, the ONLY thing they DO oppose are the people trying to create one today that is for THEIR benefit ONLY.
Now if I were to suggest a way to a single world government I would have to lay down the following stipulations:
1: NO political persuasion
2: NO corporate ties ( directorships, positions on commitees or boards) and NO corporate donations.
3: NO religeous beliefs UNLESS there is no more than ONE religeous representative allowed on said government of EACH religous belief and each MUST be tolerant of the other.
4: Anyone elected to government MUST and WILL vacate their position if the majority of world citizens ask for it ( and I'm sure that we have the technology to vote fairly and honestly).
5: Government officials MUST be voted in by the citizens not placed into positions by corporate, political parties or religeous organisations.

And lastly and most importantly

6: Elected government officials MUST be honest enough to let the public decide what is to be known and work for the betterment of mankind as a whole, NOT for a select few.

Should I live to see any of these events happen then I would be happy and then Mankind as a whole can finally start to mature to become a real civilisation to be proud of.

Sure there wouldnt be any more wars with a one world government.......

If you want to see a world with no wars you would need a world without government, without chiefs and preists and without greedy douche bags..... Good luck with that

The idea of living in a One Word Government is a good idea. But it's just the fact that the most powerful people in the world are the ones in charge of setting it up, not you or me. And it will probably be set up to their advantage.

The management of affairs is best done first by each individual, then at a level expanding outward. The problem with a true one world government is what I call "the disconnect" It's why central planning and five year plans can't work. Given the right administration, not management, people will usually cooperate. Although technology is linking us ever closer, it's still best to address issues that affect your neighbors at that level. There are not many reasons the entire world must agree on all that much. One where we have to is, for example is on the environment. Pollution can cross any border , no passport required. But to cooperate in this and other logical areas, requires more an "understanding of terms and principles" not some top down command structure.

Why would you oppose a one world governement?

Simple. For the same reasons I moved out of my parents house as soon as I could afford to.

Not because I didnt have food, not because I thought they were unjust people, but because I wanted to be FREE. I'm sure many of you can relate.

Lets admit, we live in one giant pyramid scheme already, but a one world govt would be the ultimate pyramid scheme and would put the control of food, welfare, and well being of billions of people into the hands of a few.

Look at what big of a deal it is just to endure campaigning, voting, and electing politicians in ONE country. Can you imagine the amount of time it would take, not to mention the amount of money and possibility for corruption, if 6 Billion people had to all vote?

I would consider a 1 us government - where there is just one ID and all driving laws are the same in every state, no one could forge it and I never have to go to the DMV again.

And instead of the most restrictive restriction we just all have to adopt the most liberal laws in America because I want my liberty like a I want my suppressed machine gun for target shooting - NAOW!

Government is it's own religion. In fascist or communist dictatorships, the leader/leaders are to be heralded as demigods. In this case goverment is the god. trust in it... believe in it... or else. Of course, by definition that makes it a cult. Governments are even more cult-like than most modern day organized religions (regardless or beliefs, i.e. Christian, Islam, Judaism, etc.) I have beliefs. I would not be who I am without them. I cannot and will not force them upon anyone. They are not even for sale. To me, they are free through my own practices and disciplines. That, my friends is where true faith lies. Placing faith in government is giving up on yourself even more than not believing in God. Governments are made up of people and if we are to believe in something greater than ourselves, it must not consist of people... whether it be God or even an idea. People are corruptable. Ideas are pure.

Not really..I mean, sure...grow and make your own thing

But by that example, then you should also make plans to move out of any developed country in favor of a country with no government to speak of (Somalia for example). Government..or the concept anyhow, is a framework of order so that all those in the realm can try to succeed and progress themselves without having to worry if the water is poisoned, or a roving band of raiders will kick in your door and enslave your family while your out tilling the field or whatnot.

I used a slightly exaggerated example there to counter your slightly exaggerated animosity towards any and all authority...simply put, a smart and effective government that respects the rights of individuals is what works best...not no government, a dumb government, or a intrusive government...the discussion, and the best talking point Obama made on his campaign, is that people don't want a big or small government, they want a working and smart government...and this is true..non wasteful and actually properly helpful government is the ideal.

America sort of sucks at finding this balance..much of the west is actually..but perhaps with all different walks of life putting ideas forth, something good (or horrific) may come from it...we won't know until we try though.

Yes, Zorgon...sure...thats actually what the nwo means in reality...but this is ATS...
Crazy NWO...reptilian skinwalkers eating children, demons pretending to be aliens everywhere, the planets population reduced to about 325 people all enslaved and brain wiped to be little more than diggers for gold and perhaps walmart greeters, etc...you know...the NWO!

Dont try to confuse this discussion with facts...your screwing up the imaginative ramblings..now, start off with "ya, a NWO would have bull headed red army units marching down all small town streets and beheading little kittens"...

I was lucky enough to have high school teachers that taught us european, american and world history from mesopotamia all the way up to the cold war with russia. But that was back in the early 90s when teachers still had some pride in them.

Germany and Japan were isolated from the markets, had little raw materials, severe inflation, germany had lost ww1, the atlantic-block western european nations had a monopoly on colonialism and NEEDED not just revenge but some fresh air(figuratevly speaking).

If germany had not commited genocide against the jews it would not have such a horrible stigma today. In fact they killed gypsies and communists too and no one cares, not one bit. It is ALL about the jews despite the fact I have lots of sympathy for them.

The victors write history in a biased way, from their perspective. Germany has been demonised more than it should imo. I wonder if you ask 100 modern day germans what they think of ww2 each would have a different opinion and many would not think of hitler as evil. For example, alexander the great is considered a hero of the greeks, napolean a hero of the french, mao a hero of the communists, the spanish/british/portuguesse/dutch crown as hero of their times.

It is all a matter of perspective.

Might be a pipe dream on my part, but I had been thinking about this for a while and I think it would take some time to get used to living in such a world, but wouldn't that be the ideal world to live in? Everyone being together without countries separating us and preventing us from reaching our potential as a species, instead we like to brand ourselves white, black, brown, hispanic, etc those things just keep us from reaching our true potential.

I hope you don't expect our current leaders' to be over-seeing this coming "Utopia."

I share a pipe dream too. But it's more of a nightmare considering the reality of our Gov.s choice seems to push things forward seemingly like a malignant tumor.

This one world government agenda in the making is nothing better than a band of cancer cells attacking the host body. Which sadly seems to be us all.

I wonder 'How' would I oppose a one world gov?
