The technology also makes it possible to search video for specific actions, such as people running or cars pulling over to a curb. "It can search content-based metadata such as 'guy in the red tracksuit,' to see if there is a better shot that lets his face be compared with those in online databases," explains Orwell.

I see one advantage of this tech and that is it will get mimes arrested. Other than that I see it as pointless as the system will no doubt alert more false positives.

One might rethink practicing ones bowling action in public as the cameras could think it throwing Molotovs, but being the tech is in Englund, and poms cant bowl anyway, the point is moot.
