Why does cryptozoology fascinate you?

Same reason you could say someone believes that 9/11 was done by "Dick Cheney in cahoots with indigo children 30th degree mason birth certificates". We want it to be true, we want life to be more interesting than it seems. And since its a FACT that we do not know every single species that exists, it seems to be one of the more sane sides of conspiracy sites.

It fascinates me because it adds a sense of wonder to the world. I don't like when people have the mindset that we have discovered everything that is to be discovered. I have had many experiences throughout my life that are very out of the ordinary. Sometimes I can sense these beings in ancient forests and jungles, and I love that sense of mystery that these beings bring to the world.

I like this particular subject because I like hearing/reading stories about made up creatures. It's fascinating.
