Hell/Heaven Manifest in this Life, Not the Afterlife

For a while I was stuck on the whole karma thing, thinking it had to be executed in the afterlife. How else could Dick and Bush and pals still walk the earth? The universe should have separated the life from their bodies long ago considering the amount of negative karma they have built. So I figured they would get theirs in the afterlife, I was mistaken.

I have seen how heaven and hell manifest in this life, fullfilling karma in the now. I will explain.

The hundred monkeys and crossword studies imply that our subconscious minds are linked. This means to me that if you hurt someone, the very fact they are hurting will give a fraction of that hurt back to you and those around them. They transfer this hurt down a system like how molecules break down. The hurt goes through the form of insulting others, causing them to insult others, and as the hurt loses momentum it turns into complaining, and then finally just feeling a little cranky; this is a simplified explaination of the spectrum. All people share pain to make it go away. Eventually this pain works its way to the healers of the world and they disperse it by connection with God and love.

If you lock a man in a cage where he cannot hurt you, don't be fooled, for he is griefing you and those around you in tiny amounts you would not notice but would blame on the world or toxins or dietary imbalance.

Now there is a second layer of this hell that manifests. This layer is the opportunity cost of hurt. When you hurt another, they must spend their time healing instead of being inspired and making art and advancement. You know that if everyone on the Earth was a healer and not a hurter, the world would be more like that proverbial town of perfect. A quasi-heaven. Still the Earth would war us and hurt us, but we would accomplish so much more if we would refuse to hurt one another.

Don't believe this? Try it out. Go hurt an animal or insult an innocent. The memory of your action will follow you as you attempt to clear your head for the day. It will nag you, reminding you of your action. This is what the enlightened speak of when they talk about service to others. Not about scoring points for heaven, but for manifesting heaven, right here, right now. Serving others is serving yourself, and serving yourself can be serving others if you do it right and think positive. It brings you from the realm of just feeling good sometimes to having a fullfilled sense of happyness that you carry at all times.

Think you for your time.

I agree that this occurs within normal people, although I am not sure of the heaven/hell idea, rather I am thinking it is just an emotional response for the situation. For instance, would someone with no moral compass or conscience think about or dwell on their past actions? I don't know if this is true, but I am playing Socrates in a way in this scenario, lol.

You are right, there are exception to all rules. The chemistry of the brain changes things for the unique. I have read that when dying a person feels absolute tranquility, they are at peace and are prepared to leave. There are some diseases that take this tranquility away, they suffer greatly while they die. I feel this is the universe communicating with us in an intricate symbolic way.

In the Movie Gandhi when the Hindus were fighting the Muslims and Gandhi was on a hunger strike. One man from the streets came to him...to beg him to eat to stay alive. Gandhi quizzed him as to why he was fighting, The man said that a Muslim had killed his son....so he killed the Muslim, leaving the Muslim's son a beggar in the streets.

Gandhi told the man that he must find the Muslim's son and make him as his own son....that will heal all!

What a concept!!!

Good thread!

Edited to add; Like many things in the universe emotions and karma are all fractal in nature...it all spins down from the macrocosm to the microcosm. The ripple effect, what happens on one level or lifetime affects many throughout years and lifetimes....

It is best to start the healing, someone has to take the beggar boy in and begin the healing! (slight rant)
