as for the video this is fantastic . Love to see inventions like this to help minimize the enviromental impacts we dirty greedy species leave behind on earth.

This system needs to be rigged to every ship to just filter the water as they travel!

The odds are good, as in bad for the ocean, that this thing will need to go into mass production.

Seriously, just today another ship go down leaking over 250k tons of fuel into the ocean.

You may not have noticed it during the BP spill, but the oil companies are too arrogant to use the best and most efficient methods. People are still dying of their poor and inefficient "attempts" to clean up after themselves. They don't care; we can't make them; the governments won't make them. They'll do as they damned well please, they'll dump ton after ton of deadly poison (Corexit) into the oceans, and won't listen to anybody or make any realistic attempt at mitigating the damage.

There's a special circle in hell for those people, and I intend to be right there with a very sharp trident--even if I have to sin even harder than I already do to get there....
