Michel Collon a Belgian writer, journalist, and historian about western wars and media lies.

Video is in french with english subtitles.

A short eye opening quote:

We ( west ) usually say in a natural way that we're going to switch a regime. But it is illegal from internation law view: We have the right to intervene to protect a country which is attacked, but not pretending in the case of an armed insurrection, that we're supporting one side instead of the other. If we start to authorize such interventions from any country, tomorrow Russia can say that " Hey what's going on in Bahrein is wrong, I intervene and change Bahrein regime."

If you have 13 minutes please watch this video and share it with your friends.

Very interesting video, indeed.

Thank you for sharing.

I think the journalist has some good points, and makes it easy to understand his viewpoint by bringing up the examples that he do. We in the west must listen and reflect, and act accordingly. We are better than this, and the rest of the world should have the opportunity to see this one day.

Great vid, still watching it.

Imagine if you will Russia or China, hell, even Iran saying:

Hey, look at the US, mass protests, people demanding the government change it's tune, it's a revolution, so we are going to step in, protect the protestors and other throw the Obama Regime

That's an act of war right? Yet it's fine when its the other way around.

and we wonder why they "hate us"

the best way to spread democracy is to not go into other countries and remove their democratically elected leader.

I was most impressed that he was not immediately shut down by the people there who disagree with his position.

Common respect for dissenting opinions is rare in public media. Very rare.

As to his observation that our leader's perspectives are the determinant of whether a government or leader in the third world is 'malleable' depending on what desire he serves for the major powers is, however, moot.

We no longer live in a world that is ruled by the desire to improve the human condition. It is now ruled by the desire to control the human condition. Therefore, such declarations of the worthiness and "morality" of our prospective allies and enemies is based upon a judgement which begins and ends with the secret knowledge of the gatekeepers and agenda makers. So much so, that we as people rarely get to know what the facts are... let alone the truth.

When a population is kept in ignorance, their judgement can be discarded as irrelevant by those who by virtue of their 'place' in the circles of power; can begin to make real the fantasy that they are somehow magically better-equipped to make decisions and pass judgement on behalf of the people they pretend to serve. The net effect is to legitimize their belief that they are 'better people' and 'deserve' or are 'entitled' to act in secret, and lie with impunity.... because it is no longer a matter of morality or justice... but instead it is of political expedience.

I wouldn't blame Russia or China for doing such a thing.

Afterall, it's not as if the U.S has any black smelly stuff is it? So they couldn't claim the sole intentions of these Countries was to get their hands on their Natural Resources?

Let's see what happens if martial law is declared, I would like to think the U.N would support such an act. That goes for any NATO Country, not just the U.S.
