66 Year old Woman shoots and Kills Intruder

A poor helpless woman like this is EXACTLY WHY guns are legal in this wonderful country. This woman could have become the victim of a horrible crime, instead a scumbag is taken off the streets. This frightened woman fired TWO warning shots and he still tried to enter. Good riddance IMHO! Yeah any scum bag intruder deserves to get a bullet to the head.

I know there will be people who will claim that an intruder has Human Rights, but as far as I am concerned, they are left outside any property you choose to illegally enter.

Maybe this will get people to think about their actions beforehand, but then again, probably not.

The poor woman having had to make that decision, one which she will have to live with for the rest of her life. I would hate to be put in that position too but sorry, its either you or me and I'll fight to the death if need be. Was he high on crack or something?? I mean two shots were fired at him and he kept on coming....sounds like he was asking for it. She absolutely had the right to defend herself.

You can apply for a firearms liscense in the uk, for shotguns you know?

No but last time I started a thread about firearms I was crucified for it and didnt really appreciate it, lets just say it was a pre-emptive strike before the uk came after me again So, no, you would be wrong in your assumption as to why I started this thread.

I applaud the lady and others who use their guns to protect themselves. Sadly my dad is one of those who believes that guns are unnecessary and should be at the hands of law enforcement

I'm from the uk and we can get guns,well a shotgun anyway,i consider myself pro-gun,its hard to be anti gun when you hear a story like this IMO...alot of people forrget a gun is only a tool,anything can be used to kill someone,from a piece of rock to a broom handle etc etc,its just that guns do it so damn efficiently!!

you guys have given me an idea.
instead of wasting all this time and money on a justice and punishment system that doesnt work, why dont we just give everyone graduating high school some kind of test to see if they are sane or psychotic.. and everyone who isnt normal and safe, gets shot in the head.

so much simpler and more emotionally masturbatory than actually giving a # about the human race and fixing society or coming up with a system of actual justice for everyone.
