Real-life Robinson Crusoe: Fight for life on desert island in icy seas

No food, no water and no cell phone to call for help - this was the uncomfortable reality for one would-be Robinson Crusoe. The man spent seventeen days alone scrambling for his life on a small Russian Island before he was rescued, purely by chance.

This was a lucky guy, he said he never see a plane or boat for 10 days, and was about to give up, he said he went to get seaweed from the island, but the weather turn bad, and collapsed his boat and he swam to the island..

But the bit that got me, was that no one reported this guy missing, not even his own family ?

Hey good point, and if you watch the video at about 32 sec, the guy does lay it on thick with the stumble to the ground, i just find the whole story odd..

At least the guy knows were he stands with family and friends LOL

Thank you. I rarely have the patience to watch a video.

I switched my main newsite from CNN to MSN - - just because CNN got video crazy.
