George Carlin "proved" it twenty years ago, but no one wanted to listen. Which just happens to be the next point that he made, that no one cares anymore.
The majority is comfortably ignorant about the whole thing.

Thank you my friend for this information.

It is no longer a conspiracy theory but a fully confirmed conspiracy fact!

Star and flag for you!

One needs to be careful about the use of the word "conspiracy". Conspiracy doesnt mean a theory or such like, its when people come together and conspire against others. So the bankers are indeed involved in a "conspiracy" because they are "conspiring" against less fortunate folks. Just pointing out the facts.

So the RT headline should actually read:
Bankers caught in a conspiracy to rule the world.

Or better still:
Its no longer a "conspiracy theory"! It is a poven conspiracy!

Who did ever say that it was a conspiracy theory? Its the way capitalism works. Unless you are not a member of the "club", then you cant do insider trading and if you grow too much, your company is cut to size and you lose billions. But if you are a member of the club, anti-cartel-laws and insidertrading laws do not seem to apply to you.

Well you probably live someplace nice where you can make your own rules to begin with, like the carribean.

Wow! Great find! S and F. I have to admit, that I never believed in this particular conspiracy theory.
I am speechless. I wish that the Swiss went further with there investigation on the ramifications into
the political arena.

Capitalism is one thing but when there is a confirmed contingent whose sole purpose is to work against us is not capitalism, but an abuse and rape of our system and has us time and time again answering and begging these groups for money.

Time to cut them off! Cut the tap that provides the lifeblood for them and watch the beast wither and die!

Good to see some data driven evidence, and actual quantitative information accurately depicting the real situation.

Good find. S&F.

Very interesting article and study, thanks for posting. It looks like Pareto's Principle was taken to a whole new level in America. I think one of the most important topics addressed in the publication is that we need to separate dogma from reality.

Just because this is something conspiracy theorists have been preaching for years does not mean it isn't true. A big thank you to the media for that one. I like that they make it a point to say that their conclusions are EVIDENCE-BASED!

It looks like we were right again. Will this do more to further conspiracy theorists - majority relationships? I doubt it, but it should. It is a rare thing when our theories, the ones we support although they aren't widely-held beliefs, can be proven as fact. This is a great thing, even if it doesn't do much to raise awareness or the public perception of conspiracy theories. S-F.

Its in the nature of capitalism that wealth is accumulated in fewer and fewer hands. And wealth is power. Of course on top of that you get the powerful securing their status with anti cartel laws and laws against insider trading, which apply to their competition, but not themselves. And then there are the financial con artists, which fabricate financial instruments in order to get money for no input or service at all.

And look at where it has gotten us, nowhere fast! They will keep on usurping the laws that are there to protect everyone from these douchewads.

That is who we fight against!

This is yet another reason why we fight against them. To prevent tyranny and dictatorial policies courtesy of Wall Street!

Here is a quote from the link. Sort of knew it all along although getting around it has presented quite a conundrum. Maybe with direct links to cause and effect, people would be more deliberate and implement preventative measures to prohibit the rise of the plutocracy.

From freemasons to the Council on Foreign Relations to Bilderberg, the belief that secretive groups control the world’s economic and political system are quite possibly as old as human civilization itself.

But while Occupy Wall Street protestors may be slightly exaggerating in calling themselves the 99 per cent, a recent study conducted by the Swiss Institute of Technology in Zurich shows that they aren’t too far off the mark.

Drawing from a 2007 Orbis database, which lists 37 million companies and investors spanning the globe, the researchers focused on 43,000 transnational corporations and the share ownership which connected them.

Based on their analysis, the Swiss team found that a core of companies, the majority of which are in the banking sector, yield excessive power over the global economy, the weekly New Scientist magazine reports.

Within this group, 1,318 companies with intertwined ownership structures were on average connected to 20 other companies.
