This is the most important post on this forum, and possibly the interenet itself. Yet only a handful of people show interest in it. That's why we're being destroyed, people don't care about important things.

Thanks dude! I put hours into this thread, and when I come back later for a discussion, this is what I'm greeted by:

Let's kick the discussion off, maybe others who haven't seen the thread will join.

You know, I've been telling people that all this data mining and the new giant data centers they're making are probably to analyze us instead of terrorists. Now you tell us they are predicting what we're thinking, hmm. Maybe I was right?

For those who don't want to read the chapter from the document or even the long OP that I posted, here's an audio-book of American Conspiracies. Chapter 14 begins immediately, enjoy:

I agree, I think these are being used against American citizens. How many terrorists plots have been thwarted by all of these Constitutional violations? I haven't heard of too many. Years ago, I would have laughed at the idea of a secret plan to undermine American democracy, but the more I read and the more I educate myself on this topic, the realer it becomes.

I think so. Hell, this discussion is probably being read by some supercomputer or even some government agent now for all we know. I'm sure there is a file for many members of this website, in fact I'm sure many are even on the Draconian terrorist watch list that has well over 750,000 Americans on it.

There are some parallels between George Orwell's 1984 and our government, and that is a scary thought. The purpose of the government is to serve the people, and all of these oppressive, unconstitutional measures that have been going on lately make me really pessimistic for the future.

In the OP, the possibility of all electronics being shut down simultaneously was suggested. Well, it seems we are well on our way to that becoming a reality.

Nice thread.
But (my opinion) you could sum up this thread theme in two words.
Cloward-Piven.

I didn't know what Cloward-Piven was, so I Wikipedia'd it, but to be honest I don't understand your point.

If I had to sum the thread up in 2 words, they would be: Orwellian oppression.

The attempt to end democracy (constitutional republic) is to overwhelm the system with entitlements. Once the system crashes, the more totalitarian aspects of government can come in to "rescue" us from events that the government was responsible for in the first place.

War on terror? Patriot Act
Housing bubble (Frank Dodd)? TARP, bank bailouts.

Interesting theory. It makes good sense, and I would agree that all of those things are just another step in the direction of imminent martial law, FEMA camp round-up, etc. But I don't know if "entitlements" would be what sparks the dynamite, I think it'd be a combination of many things. Disease outbreak, nationwide terrorist strike, poverty, anger towards government, inflation, and so on.

It's not just one or another, I agree. We are being innundated on every front. This "attack" is occuring even now as we speak!
Class warfare.
Unemployment.
Tensions overseas.
(Wonder what bringing home 39K troops will be like to the economy?)
And the euro crisis where wall street is heavily tied into.

Just to name a few. . . .

I think what Beez was implying(sorry if im wrong Beez) with his Post was this. If Our country is as broke as we know it is,imagine the Anger if those benefits couldn't be had? What type of civil strife would we see?

One in six Americans is receiving help from the government, just as fiscal austerity threatens to reduce some of that aid....................

Food stamps: The number of people in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, known as food stamps, hit a record 44.2 million in January. That's up 4.7 million from the prior year.

The largest of all safety net programs, Medicaid enrollment for the first time ever topped 50 million in June 2010, the most recent figures available. That's up from 42.3 million in June 2007.

I just wonder if it'll be something big that will come quickly, or will the eventual destruction of American democracy and freedom be taken step by step so that most people don't even realize it. I would think the smarter course for those behind it would be the latter, but maybe a huge false flag could happen which kicks it into full gear.

Maybe, like some have speculated, the occupy protests are just another string being pulled by TPTB. It will become violent either due to some people snapping at police brutality, or instigation from somebody who infiltrates and intentionally turns the group violent. Then before you can even think of a course of action, you're being rounded up in camps, or martial law is declared.

But at least some people are aware of this are and doing whatever they see as appropriate to wake others up and fix it. "Let it not be said that we did nothing" --Ron Paul

You implied correctly. (Morning here, still trying to main-line caffeine)

Just to add, it is why I've been braying about personal responsibility for so long. When the timee comes, and the government walks away, the only thing you'll be able to rely on is yourself. If you aren't relying on government to begin with, then you should cbe in a better position.

My opinion?

It'll speed up. Election time is coming, dramatic changes will have to occur if this current administration wants to stay in power.
