"HATE the ringing in the ears thing. I'll get a sudden burst in one ear that feels like a heck of a pressure change and a long "tone" is the best I can describe it..."

You reminded me of a thought that occurred to me a few months back, when I was 'contemplating' the speed of light, LoL- really, and whether or not there was a cumulative effect. Earth's rotational speed is 1,070 miles/hr whilst traveling around the Sun at 66,600 miles per hour ...plus the entire Solar System is whooshing along the outskirts of the Milky Way (486,000 miles per hour) ...that's 553,670 so far, and who knows how fast the Milky Way is bee-bopping along. There was more to that thought-road, but just now, what the heck does any of it have to do with this thread, you wonder? Maybe nothing, or maybe Solar Winds / space dust/plasma/you-name-it can cause fluctuations in the speed of any or all of the above. Maybe holes in the ionosphere makes us susceptible to subtle changes in pressure due to changes one or more of the aforementioned velocities.

""Bernoulli effect" is the lowering of fluid pressure in regions where the flow velocity is increased. This lowering of pressure in a constriction of a flow path may seem counterintuitive, but seems less so when you consider pressure to be energy density."

This could also be way off base. Your post caused it to come to mind. So I just thought I'd throw it out there, for the good of the group!

Well this has been an interesting thread so far. I just got done reading all of the posts. I noticed that most people are on board with something just isn't right, of course there are a few people that think we are all children and don't know what the hell we are talking about, but anyway, I found it interesting that just 2 days before this earthquake in Turkey most of us were feeling this...I don't know what to believe people, I am just a person on this planet just like you, I don't have a being that I worship, I don't pray to anything, I am trying to figure out what the hell is going on in this world.
Don't really know what else to say right now, I am just bewildered.

I am 733t-MNKY's girlfriend and I am very happy that others have felt what him and I have been through. Its a really sucky feeling when you start feeling crazy. I hope to continue to hear more and thank you to those of you who have taken what we said and tried to help. It really is a great feeling knowing that there are others are feeling these things too, not that I would wish it on anyone, but its nice not feeling insane. Thank you!

I've had a buzzy feeling in both ears (right worse than the left) since last wednesday. Bit like when you get a pressure build up but not had any pain. At times it is quite defeaning and I have been close to getting a proper headache from it - didn't sleep well thursday as it kept me awake most of the night. A little background noise like the tv on low helps, but when it's too quiet the buzzing is very loud or if other noises are too loud it increases the buzzing. Feels like my heads going to explode!

Been to Drs today who confirmed no wax or infection and thinks its down to blocked sinuses.

I even thought my car had developed a funny noise. Got hubby to check it out and it turns out it was the buzzy stuff making the car engine sound different.

Also feel slightly dizzy too but not vertigo dizzy (had that before once and it is horrible - so bad I could not get out of bed and the room was rollingand I was puking everywhere).
edit on 24/10/2011 by YarlanZey because: cos it also seems to be affecting my grammer and spelling too

Very interesting. Found your site because I've been very dizzy for a couple days. Room spinning, naseaus, it's awful. This has happened a few times in the last year, and I was suspecting it was related to these earthquakes in New Zealand. Google "Charlotte's syndrome" - very interesting.

We had a big quake this afternoon on the South Island - it seems like I'm feeling better, but still dizzy. Hmmm...maybe aftershocks will still cause dizzyness?
