I thought it was interesting that the photographers were threatened by the tribesmen, but it wasn't all that dramatic.

This footage of supposedly "uncontacted" tribes is more dramatic because you can see their homes, and their gardens where they grow food like bananas etc.

As another poster said they've probably been contacted, but still, you can see from the footage that they are remote enough to where they probably don't get much contact.

I don't know how much traffic the river gets, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's where they made contact, somewhere like the river bank?

Inbreeding has given them all funny splayed out toes!

You envy them. They have to deal with malaria or any sickness without a doctor. They have no electricity. No heat, no air conditioner. (most americans cannot survive a balmy day in June without air ) They might not realize what they are doing without but we know. There is no advantage to living in the jungle in a hut. Thats why we no longer live like that.
I would not interfere with them personally but I sure do not envy them. Their lives are hard and probably short.

I doubt they have any immunity to the various diseases that they would be exposed to if the were contacted, if they really are an undiscovered tribe, so by contacting them you might inadvertently wipe them all out. Probably best to leave them to it.
