i wasn't saying you're fourteen, and i agree, metallica is pretty garbage. i was just saying that is what it makes you seem like; it's the young generic metal set who i normally encounter dissing on their miscomprehension of emo.
as to your comment immediately after, since this is a hallowmas thread you've got to expect some generic carp.
i thought everyone was putting up some decent stuff.
just because none of it will ever be in my rotation
doesn't mean it's not perfectly suited.

Im a jerk one fo those musical "elitists" if you will. To me if its cry baby bullcrap whining about personal problems it's emo. If its that new crappy screaming with the breakdowns it's still emo, just in disguise. I saw some good ones, but alot of generic brandname hot topic mall goth garbage.

I cant beleive no one has suggested Hallows Eve, saint vitus, candlemass, or ghost. If you dont like Satan ignore hallow eve, candlemass and ghost.

you do realise emo is [was] a legitimate genre, not just a catchall name for things that annoy you, right?

i'm a musical elitist too
only where i'm from that means we're actually educated about music
not to be a jerk, but you should get some education or get some tolerance
or preferably both
