The small town I live in has had an "Occupy" demonstration coinciding with the other major Canadian cities . The media, owned by Black Press (Conrad Black) is portraying the protest as a pro communist demonstration. It appears they have planted some little boy to hold a sign that says "Marx said there would be days like this". They then interview this "wise" little boy and quote him saying, "I'm against all the wrongs in our society that are constantly going on: The racism and sexism that (capitalism) encourages. I'm against seeing brands and logos everywhere. I'm against private property in its entirety."
The article describes the crowd as cohesive with their statements, logical and peaceful. There author states there are 21 demands but does not say what they are and then goes into detail with the comment from the little boy holding the Marxist sign painting the whole demonstration as a pro communist event.
I am glad this is a free paper so no need to get my money back I can just throw it in the garbage!

Yet those same people contribute to those same wrongs every day.

They think they are doing the world a favor.

"I'm against seeing brands and logos everywhere."

Take a look at his jacket....covered in logos!

Some people....how they even manage to think is beyond me.

Well, let's see.

Sickle and hammer on chest and pot leaf on shoulder.

Pinko junkie... I would say he is among many comrades.

I am not condoning violence at these protests in ANY way, that would lead to disaster. But, the more I look at the picture of this guy, the more I have the overwhelming urge to walk up to him and bitch slap the hell out of him.

I don't know what these people are thinking, communism is dead.

Why wouldn't a brainwashed Marxist youth tote a sign there, it is sponsored by big ticket socialists, globalists and communists. Communist Party of America, Soros, Code Pink and their many Komrade organizations.
Drugs, sex, free food and he gets to hang out with anarchists, communists, and various other revolutionaries.

This is a wet dream to a Marxist indoctrinated junior insurectionist.

He is exactly where he wants to be and he knows it, why don't the sheeple supporters of OWS believe in him? Ignorance is rampant at OWS there is no denying that, but that is what makes a sheeple, they never know they are one until it is too late.

This is a sign that it is too late. The supporters of OWS see commies and marxists parading around openly and all they can do is deny it. Same as the rapes, drugs, filth, hatred, zombie chanting, mic checks by their herders to silence dissent and control the daily agenda.

These denials get funnier by the day.

I don't think communism is fully dead. There are many young people and academics who have favorable views of it. It just may rise again, and cause much bloodshed in its goals to eradicate inequality and religion.

To be fair, I'm certain he was talking about brand names and company logos, i.e. private industry, not ideological logos like the hammer & sickle for communism, and the pot leaf for marijuana legalization...

Maybe you should join the Police, then at least you would get paid for it. They are probably looking to recruit people like you at the moment

The vaguely disguised point I was trying to make in this thread was the 1% are afraid and manipulating the msm to make to protest something its not. The occupiers need to be sure that this element does not highjack the purpose of the protests like Sarah Palin did to the Tea Party.

It was hijacked, or more aptly, recruited for and funded from the beginning.
