Infrastructure and backing loans to businesses for expansion I would think. I think we should make a commitment to have fiber optic at every house in America in 5 years; with some exceptions, of course.

I also think we should make a commitment to bring charges against any government contractor who gouges the taxpayers. Serious charges. People make criminal decisions, then the "corporation" pays a fine. No more of that.

That was tried and the corrupt corporations ran off with the money.

$200 Bil USD broadband scandal

What would help the US best is to end the trade deficit.

We cannot compete with products that are made by political dissidents in China
that are little more than slaves.

The working conditions at the Iphone plant are so bad 12 ppl have preferred suicide,
which makes one wonder if they did not have an option to quit the job.

The US could ban goods that are not made in accordance with US labor laws.

That would be closer to fair trade.

We would stop the import of oil from other nations incrementally as we gear up
algae oil solutions such as offered by valcent technologies at the rate of 100,000 gal/acre/yr
in the desert, aka non-arable land.

We could start community gardens that are under lock and key and video surveillance,
and end the almost 50 million ppl on food stamps.

If the ppl in food stamps had to stand in single file line for their food it would stretch from coast to
coast multiple times.

USAA provides not for profit car and home insurance for veterans, I pay 300% less on USAA.

Extend that to the general population who have no criminal activity, and even further to the
medical field and many problems would be solved.

Roll out solar thermal, geo thermal, and wind power and start dismantling the unsafe reactors
that have much the same design as Fukushima Japan here in the US.

There is plenty of work to do, we just have pirates going nuts looting the system.

Ban the derivatives now and phase out wall street over time.

Its a numbers racket, and numbers rackets were illegal for a reason.
