Okay, this just happened, just curious as to what you guys think (I try and be very open minded)
(This is going to be slightly hard to read, maybe, just awoke from it, trying to piece everything together before I forget it.)

It was 1:20 when I decided to lay down, to take a nap before class later today (planned to sleep quite a bit so that I could stay up tonight playing Batman Arkham City
) So I layed down and fell asleep quite quickly. Now, I've had sleep paralysis before (I'll detail them more in another post, maybe, they didn't affect me as much as this one did 1st felt like I was lifted in my bed, and someone said "There's nothing you can do" another was something holding my eyes open and picking at them, and I don't remember the 3rd one well)

Anyway, As soon as I fell asleep, I was in a dream where someone broke into my apartment, but, It seems I woke up, and of course, couldn't move well, and everytime I felt myself break free I would be pushed back down and have a very powerful painful (can not stress enough that it felt very forced) vision of images just flashing through my eyes. I opened my eyes several times, only to have what seemed to be a black bar shove them down (each time getting a new vision, cant piece them together that well, I remember a bike and a face?) I screamed, Only to be threw into another vision, I moved, another vision, etc.

My vision, when it was open, was red and I saw 2 blocks of text on the wall that I could read, although I think I only read the first one which said (there were quotes on the wall as well, including them) " "I am Jeffery (It may have said Jefferett) and I will show you glimpses of (something) " "

Once I had read that, I thought, "Okay, show me what happens to me" Then I was thrown into waking (I thought) at which I went to the computer to google the phrase I saw in the wall. To which it took me to google images and showed me graphic images of sexuality. Then I was mad because I couldn't figure out what it meant and I really didn't want to see these images so I went to this website and thats when I woke up to what I thought was a laugh (disorentated, turned out to be a stupid car revving its engine outside (perks of living in a city, I know) ), heavy breathing, and pain in my chest, and now I am here, making this post.
Do you have anything to make of this ATS? Please help me, I've never been freaked out about something like this before.

Sorry If it is hard to read, I tried to format it a bit.
I appreciate anything and everything you have to say.

This doesn't sound anything like sleep paralysis to me. I have it quite often.

The only similarity I can see is the heavy feeling on your chest. Aside from that, maybe just a really vivid nightmare?

I've had times where I was sleeping and knew I had to get up for work and in my dream I keep trying to get up but I was paralyised, it's probably sleep paralysis.

I'v had sleep paralysis before. there's no meaning to them. mine was i opened my eyes while I was asleep and there was a person sitting on my keyboard. I stared at him for a while and then he kicked me and disappeared. nothing happened, nothing will happen and it has no reason. however freaky they are it doesn't mean anything

I think you were just dreaming. I get sleep paralysis often, and have had visions like this. I figured at first i was hallucinating while in paralysis like i've heard some people say, but the more it started happening, i'm pretty sure its just a dream of you having sleep paralysis as wired as that sounds.

Actually i had one last night.

I woke up with what i thought was sleep paralysis, couldn't move, someone tried calling the girlfriend, she didn't want to answer, then someone banged on the door. I tried to move but couldn't. She tried to get up, but then the door flew open and it was a friend of mine. He asked, "Emily (my girlfriend)! Are you the one who left massie (his dog) in the attic all night with josh (a friend)?! Seriously don't lie i just need to know!" She said yes and he just walked out. I then snapped out of the paralysis and tried to follow him to bitch him out for barging into our room so late, i found him outside and the dog took an elevator to the attic. After that i just realized i was dreaming, went lucid, and just went back to sleep.

wow, david lynch would sure know what to do with this one. well, it may have been a sleep paralysis with heavy hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations realistic enough to freak you out to such extent. i've had countless paralyses, nightmares etc. throughout my life and there were times where i thought was awake, got up, made the coffee and made myself ready to go to work only to wake up really and realize that the whole scene was in fact a dream. dreams can be very realistic. very.

I'd be interested to know if you remember any of the quotes to see if they could possibly mean anything other than what the google search engine gave you. It is possible they may have other meanings or even something that pertains to you.

I know some of it was a dream, for sure, but I know other parts of it were sleep paralysis, I recognize the pattern. Waking up, not being able to move, the sensation of being held down. It was pretty bad. But it threw me into a dream, then back into the paralysis, it was very odd.

this sounds like sleep paralysis with seriously realistic hallucinations. I usually hear voices, see or sense things in my room but the fact that there was 2 blocks of texts on the walls is pretty weird... maybe this Jeffrey person was trying to tell you someting?
