Taking the shock out of opening up your cell phone bills in the future, CTIA – the Wireless Association’s trade group – will now agree to have cell phone companies warn customers when they’ve reached their limit of usage on their phones.

The cell phone companies are finally agreeing to warn customers of impending over-usage of minutes on calls, too many texts, and too much data downloaded within the span of one bill.
In other words, no more surprises when the phone bill is posted or received by a consumer. The cell phone industry is agreeing to do this before the government steps in and regulates what's fair for them.
