We are in a new era...

We have social medias to organize and coordinate huge masses, spread ideas, spread involvement, change things.

Yet I don't see it happenning right now... I see a lot of rage, frustration, movements born to "crush" the current system. But I don't see them offering the solution. In fact they seem to spend more time getting known than trying to provide strong solutions backed by strong arguments.

We live, you are I and thanks to the internet, in the age of the democratisation of knowledge.

Where are the organisation full of young people trying really hard...

To find a fix for fossil fuel dependance.
To eradicate poverty.
To find humanity's big problems and try to fix them.

All that can be achieved with the tools we have RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW, while sitting at our computer's. YOU PEOPLE have the power, to make this life however we want, to create a new world. To build a decent world, that does away with greed; a world where science, democracy, the internet and human cooperation will lead to total happiness.

There is no excuses anymore, information is at our finger tips, it's only a matter of knowing what we want to invest our attention in. And we're being pretty selfish about it.

All I seem to hear about theses days are either groups that act by using negativity.

OCCUPY wallstreet, sure, I like the idea, but it's got the word OCCUPY in it, pretty offensive.

The age of the art of war has come to an end people, we have evolved past this point and most everyone didn't realize that yet. Welcome to the digital age of cooperation and ideas.

Oh, and guess what... The money excuse.. doesn't apply as much anymore.

Is it or is it not possible to raise huge ammounts trough social networks? It's entirely possible, wannabe presidents use it. You can't say: I don't have the money for it now with things like kickstarter.com around.

Your parents and grand parents had to buy books and spend time travelling around in libraries to have access to tiny puny glimpse of the knowledge that is now available, live from your chair. There is no excuses.

If Anonymous is the dark hooded wizard with a heavy golden heart full of determination... Imagine how powerful the light hooded wizard with a compassionate heart full of certitude will be.

So what's the deal? Honestly I am typing this post right now because it simply came to me, I could come to you with a plan, tell you what to do, what to think, or what to feel but that's not my goal.. It is to spread the idea.

So where do we start?

We need to create an online community that promotes the leverage of it's members knowledge and cooperation.

There was a thread not too long ago here on ATS about "selling yourself" if you were to encounter a small but organised community in a post apocaliptic world. People would stop by and list their skills and what they can do to help.

This is what needs to happen... We need to create a brotherhood of good doers that excel at leveraging the digital age. A group that can harness the power of social networking, social cooperation, crowd sourcing and the global knowledge of everyone's to whom that idea spreads, in the name of liberty and democracy.

Instead of lobbying in the streets to fix things, how about we get our hands dirty online and fix our world.

We are doing what you say now OP, there just needs to be more of us. Truth needs only to be understood and people need the knowledge of the truth. Often we can tell someone is obfuscating the truth for sinister means with relative ease by noticing hints in behavior keying us in to . We need to be able feel it like that when the truth hits us in the face. For it seems the liars protecting their personal kingdoms are very good at their craft.
