This story deserves so much more attention than it's getting right now because shows what is going on in this financial mess and why it isn't being fixed.

(I'm sorry about this awkward post. It's my first time.)

RSN-Elizabeth Warren Article

Elizabeth Warren: The Woman Who Knew Too Much By Suzanna Andrews, Vanity Fair 11 October 11 Millions of Americans hoped President Obama would nominate Elizabeth Warren to head the consumer financial watchdog agency she had created. Instead, she was pushed aside. As Warren kicks off her run for Scott Brown's Senate seat in Massachusetts, Suzanna Andrews charts the Harvard professor's emergence as a champion of the beleaguered middle class, and her fight against a powerful alliance of bankers, lobbyists, and politicians. n the afternoon of July 18, in remarks from the Rose Garden amid the bruising showdown with congressional Republicans over the debt ceiling, President Obama made what the White House billed as a simple "personnel announcement."

It would better to summarize the story, then post a link to the source.
When people see this, they will more than likely over look it.
I don't want to have to read a book to know what it's about.

PS, I'm not trying to bash your thread, I am interested in reading it.
So if you could, summarize it. Thanks.

I agree.
I open the post and see a wall of words.
I immediately skim for any kind of summary and find none.

Please summarize.

Just a friendly piece of advice:

Is there any way you can break up your post into pieces, paragraphs, and/or just the important chunks of the article as separate individual external quotes ?

It's virtually impossible to read a massive wall of text like that... I challenge you to try to read your own post and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I gave up about 1/3 of the way before my retinas began to give out.

It's too bad, because this sounds like an interesting story that I'd never heard about until now.

Edit: I see two posters jumped in with the same idea before I hit the "post" button.

To True the shorter the post the more people are likely to read it hence you don't see a lot of long winded post from myself.

The Consumer Protection Agency should never have ever been created it picks up where the Federal Reserve leaves off between those two government agencies is the final death nail in what most people call "free market capitalism" that's anything but.

Everything they do hurts people more than they have ever helped.

I love that woman, however, her throwing her hat into the political arena will be the end of her.
