I get very excited during the lucid dream, because I know I'm going to be doing some crazy stuff. I can jump higher than buildings (in a weird, low gravity way), glide across the ground..etc. Unfortunately, so far I have little control, but some. A neat one I had last year: was in some convenience store, and I realized I was dreaming, so I instantly thought "I'm going to come up with some lotto numbers!", but I wasn't sure how to go about it. I tried to dream up some device that would tell me lotto numbers, but I didn't put much effort into it and nothing happened, so I thought well, I'll run to the counter to find a pen and paper and start writing numbers down, and I'm not sure I wrote anything down, but I did start coming up with my numbers, so I started repeated them over and over and forced myself to wake up, where I rushed up and grabbed a pen and paper and wrote them down. Still have them.

Still haven't won anything.

How do you know you're not just dreaming that you think you can control dreams at the time? In reality you may have zero control over your dreams but when you dream you dream that you do have control. In your dream you make a decision, you think it's you making it but it's all controlled by the dream.

First question, did you ever had a lucid dream?

If you did, you wouldn't ask/think this way, because you would have experienced it yourself. Normal dream vs. lucid one is so different you just know the difference.

I have been lucid dreaming ever since i was a child. Up until my 20's i thought everybody has them, you know, one day you can't remember, the next day you have a nightmare and the next you're lucid. It seemed to me that lucid ones are just part of the dream cycle until i talked to my mother about one of mine and she said she never had one. Then i talked to everybody else, asking them about it and found out not everybody has lucid dreams. That's really a shame, lucid is like magic, i would like everybody to feel it even once.

Anyway, then came the interwebz and i found out about everything else, like dream mapping, astral projection and stuff
