Hi, new member here

Hi ya'll.
I've been reading ATS for a long time now, and just finally decided to join.
About myself:
I live in southern Europe, married with 2 children.
I'm in my late 20s, mid income job, university degree in International Politics.
I like to consider myself as a logical and rational individual, I usually don't buy conspiracy theories and the like.
Some of them are very fascinating though.
My main interest in the 'field' has been Ufology.
I basically joined just for that, discuss the matter without fear of being ridiculed.
I cannot talk about it with anyone, because, of course, the subject is taboo and everyone who even contemplates the existence of Ufo is considered by 99% of regular people as a delusional freak.
I've watched tons of documentaries, read lots of threads and sites.
While most of it is, in my opinion, bs, there are well documented cases which cannot be ruled out with a mere joke or a laugh.
I'll talk about them in detail later.
For now, thanks everybody, especially the site owners for the opportunity.

I'm not from the Iberian Peninsula.
I'm actually from Florence, where one of the best ufo sightings took place back in 1954.
