Cloud formation looks like eagle soaring through sky.......[Cool Pic.]

This stunning cloud formation appeared above Cumbria and looks just like a huge eagle soaring through the sky.
Two massive 'wings' either side of a central 'body' give the impression the bird is swooping down over the coast of Maryport.

Mother-of-one Ally McGurk took the photo from her back window after her partner, Steve, noticed the uncanny formation.

Musical instrument repairer, Ally, said: "This is a cloud formation that appeared in the sky over the Solway Firth, which is just a mile from our house.

"We get loads of fabulous sunsets, especially in the early autumn, as the house faces north-west.

"My other half, Steve was standing at the back window and noticed the cloud.

"He watched it for a few minutes before coming out of his trance and realising it ought to be photographed.

"I raced off, grabbed my camera, opened the window wide, and fired off several shots."

Ally added: "Steve said it had looked even more like a bird before he called me, but since I missed that bit, I'm just grateful he told me when he did.

"To me, it looks like an eagle, though I've had suggestions of other predatory birds, like hawks, from other people."

that is a huge cloud
looks more like a moth to me tho

Oh nature, simply beautiful. I can spend hours looking up cloud formations and not find something as beautiful as this one.

My 13-year-old thinks it looks Photoshopped, but don't think so. Clouds can make some pretty amazing shapes and sometimes people just happen to be within reach of a camera.
