folowed the link said I wasnt permited to acces that topic so I will post my view here. The only thing that can destory humanity is humanity itself. Our doom could come from nukes overpopulation and the problems related to it.

Well I really hope that one day man is civilized enough to not need war or violence anymore, but I'm starting to lose hope of that. So, I agree with the nuke thing or maybe some kind of really contagious disease that can't be cured.

Wouldnt it be great? sadly it wont happen there will always be wars.
AIDS is wiping out many third world countries althou I dont see AIDS wiping out the whole world just the poor parts of the globe.

I have a theory: Prisoners and criminals will be deported to Mars, and they will launch a nuke to the Earth as a revenge. Well, it is a reasonable possibility, I guess. The future is in the hands of the Martians...

i believe that humaity will dissappear when the sun goes out.

Seriously though I will probably die of old age, but if # hits the fan hummanity will die by either nuclear holocaust or a mutant supervirus that wipes us all out.

Wow, this is just a whole thread of bouncy fun, isn't it! You know what I might compile a list of ways in which the world might end, get Simon to have a specific area built, then let the depressed people muse over them one by one, it might keep them at bay for a while...hmmm.

Ok, I plan on dying of old age, but other than that I believe that a load of killer sheep are going to come and savage us in the night, one by one we'll all be bumped off...

We will try to study the effects of large energy concentration in a small amount of space, and incidentally create a black hole. That'll do it.

call me paraniod but I always thought that with the increase in the amount of biological weapons being created, it is more than likely going to be due to a mutation of the common cold... we are closer to finding a cure for AIDS.

I'm hoping that we develop a cure from the cold. I know its a virus and they spread and so you cant cure them but trust me, we will.

Another interesting question relating to this: Would you rather take torture or death?

It won't be an asteroid, nor terrorist attack, major earthquake, or tidal wave, or even AIDS.

We will starave to death. Over population and not enough for all to eat...

We couldn't all starve to death. There may be famines, but they couldn't wipe out humanity totally.

I tend to go with Gaia theory on this one. Despite our best efforts to throw it off course, the Earth has proven to be more than capable of self regulation. If major climate or environmental change did happen, and wiped out most of humanity, all that would mean is more resources left over for the survivors.
