Alaska is a very seismic region. I don't think those levels of EQ's are that uncommon really. You might want to check out Quake Watch 2011 where there are many members that track every eq in the world on a daily basis.

I live in Alaska and yes it is an active place. I think i felt one the day before yesterday but it's a normal thing for us. If they stop it would be a worrying situation.

this seems normal if im honest.

a few weeks after japan, the entire pacific ring was buzzing for weeks, including swarms in alaska...

nothing to see here, move along!

Well, that explains it - my birds have been driving me NUTS. They won't shut up - which is what they do when a storm front is moving in - OR when there's major earthquake activity somewhere.
