Firstly, this isn't to offend anyone on ATS apart from the ignorant people and the people who believe the media when it suits then because who came up with the stereotype of hackers being spotty teenagers behind computers?

Secondly, I am willing to be convinced and open to discussion about anon, but do not attack my opinion, its not fact and its my view.

Recently there has been a lot of discussion about wall street and anon with a lot of people slating anon. I don't see why people do it. Personally i haven't seen any evidence that what they are doing is bad, but feel free to show me, but don't force your opinion onto me.

Anon is doing more then a lot of people that use this site. They sit behind a computer, and try and change the world, whereas most of the members of this site, sit behind a computer and moan and whine and become very ignorant about their opinion and slate anon, who are not teenagers and if they are, they are very intelligent teenagers.

At least anon are making actual use of there time behind a computer and doing something. All the people on this site that have wanted change for however long, when change comes along, it must be the elite that are doing it, which is basically trying to say that the people don't have a voice because when they do stand up, it must be the elite, must be the bankers. Never the 99% always the 1%.

What happened to deny ignorance? more like deny ignorance unless it doesn't agree with your opinion?

To the person who flagged me instantly after i posted? Did you read it or see it and flag it?

Anon is very much a catch all term. Anyone that post on 4-chan is an "Anon".

Well , sure 'they' have. But for the life of me i cant think of anything that has actually helped. Mostly they are trolls and hackers that harass the internet denizens.

they are very intelligent teenagers.

This is outright impossible to prove. Hacking is very easy once you get into it. Its not rocket science.

Mostly they are not. They are hackers first, trolls second and once in a blue moon they are activist.

Recently there has been a lot of discussion about wall street and anon with a lot of people slating anon.

Completely understandable since Anon often commit crimes(such as hacking)- why would people worship a vague organization who is only good some of the time?

Nice thread btw. What exactly anon is needs to be discussed. S&F

People like you claim that what they are doing is not a crime...UNTIL YOU THE ARE VICTIM, and then you scream bloody murder claiming that they are the antichrist (or whatever your current "evil" target is this week).

You know who i meant, the majority of people know who i mean, if not then they can't really comment on a rant about anon?

If its so easy to do, why haven't more people hacked big transnationals companies and got away with it? I like to say i know quite a bit about computers, but to claim that what they do is easy to do? Which it is for them, not for your average techy guy.

Didn't say they were teenagers, I am saying they aren't? If they are teenagers like people say they are, then they know a lot about computers and not getting caught.

It is a crime in the laws eyes yes, never said it wasn't? But will challenging the elite legally work? If i am a victim of a crime, I am a victim, so be it. If it doesn't kill me it will make me stronger and more prepared in case it comes about again. I won't be screaming about it being Antichrist haha

Depends on what crime as well really? I would feel a lot differently to being raped and attacked then hacked to be honest. Hacking nowadays is face book rape.

If you knew me, you would know my view on the world isn't as simplistic what you are portraying it to be haha.

They do get hacked all of the time. In fact, Sony just got hacked a while ago.

www.pcworld.com...

I dont know what 'tech guys' learn, but i do know that i myself can hack many websites. And i have hardly even taken the time to learn much more about hacking

hen they know a lot about computers and not getting caught

But, they do get caught. Most of them are script kiddies in over their heads.

Once you get into professional soccer it's pretty easy too.

If the lawmakers are the problem how relevant are the laws? To argue that something is illegal when speaking of revolution is absurd.

No one has been harmed. No one but those in power are threatening anyone with violence. Why the instant hate when someone states an opinion?

A day might come when all of us will wish we had fought harder.

Oh that hack of sony, the one where the guy who did it got hired by facebook? Didn't get arrested for his crimes but hired for a company that takes our data. Not quite anon really?

www.pcworld.com...

and the script kiddies your on about aren't anon? they are what you say they are, kiddies compared to other hackers? They got caught through no-one elses fault but there own for not protecting themselves enough.

You obviously know nothing about hacking. It is not hard once you know what you are doing. Yes you have to learn how to(which is easy).

Never said i did? Don't want to learn a crime now do I? So you hack yourself or claim to be able to, yet your slating anon for being skilled at it and making the most of their skills?

How long would it take you to learn how to hack a company such as sony? or the nyse (lets see if that happens)? Tell me that's easy to do and can be learnt easily.

Your just finding points to pick out on, not actually giving me any reason to believe anon are bad?

If you are doing something and know what your doing then of course its easy?

Actually, I have had some negative run ins with Anon, due to some stupid choices on my part. But I am still wholeheartedly for them and believe in what they stand for.
