How Many More People have to Die?

Bridgestone offers to replace 27,000 tires over concerns that part detachment may cause accidents

Come on! Didnt we just go trough this again? How Many More People have to Die so that the tire companies become responsible for their QC? They probably write off the cost of the lawsuits and recalls as part of doing business, and make money off the ones who dont or cant complain.

Sounds like they're at least trying to be proactive. Recalls are the responsible thing to do, not ideal of course. But responsible.
