I just double-checked in Stellarium, the only planet to come this close to the corona is Mercury but this has a different path and Mercury would
appear to be larger due to its closer proximity.
Also, I just received this response from NASA/ESA:

Unfortunately, we have very limited DSN contacts these weeks (DSN = Deep Space Network: deepspace.jpl.nasa.gov... The reason is that the the
recently launche GRAIL mission (moon.mit.edu...) requires extra DSN support during its Early Operations phase. Instead of the usual 4-6 hourly
contacts with the DSN stations every 8 hours we now have only very brief contacts (1-2 hours), sometimes separated by as much as 16 hours or more. The
data are stored on-board and will eventually be downlinked (unless we loose additional contacts, in which case data stored on board will be
over-written, because of the limited storage space).
STEREO is similarly impacted and actually may loose data.
This period of high contention should end in a few weeks.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
