I think all people are free to believe what ever they like about freemasonry everyone is entitled to their opinions. For me the rocawear line and the Jayz Illuminati crap is just going to far. But when you are on an army base at a px and they are selling hats with the freemason square and the words(masters of the craft) it hits me that things are going to far. I mean are the freemasons endorsing the sellout of their symbolism. Either way with this sort of stupidity youth who know nothing about freemasonry will be wearing these things around displaying the imagery for everyone to see. If Jayz starts wearing shirts that say 666 will people buy those too.

Freedom of speech is a biotch...

I think they are loving it. I've stated before that TPTB are just sinking their claws into the entertainment media just as they have done before, except this time they are using urban role models to feed their goal. It's common knowledge that they play both sides so I wouldn't be surprised if they plan some huge political display speaking out against it just to add more drama to a controlled situation.

They got everything even the Tee's. They even used the skull and bones logo on their tags.....
People tend to go with the flow, If Michael Jackson was resurrected in his prime and he said devil worshiping was the thing, Everyone would be doing it including some of your family members. Now this really pisses me off, I really feel like smashing peoples faces when they copy celebs......

The thing is that the freemason symbols are NOT copyrighted.

So literally ANYONE can use the symbols for themselves. Just because you sell it or you wear it does not automatically make you a freemason.

The freemasons can not be sellouts because none of their symbols and none of their phrases are legally protected (copyright, trademark, etc).

I suppose these are the items of question? -

edit: I am reading and I am getting alot of mixed information about this. If it were copyrighted we can go and sue them for using our symbol. If any mason wants explain more about this issue please do so!

I think they have to show themselves. That's part of their bargain.

No , we Masons (for the most part) are not loving it . Jay Z is making money by using our symbolism . If it were up to many of us he would not be using it , but our symbols are fair game for anyone to use . There was also shirts sold by Old Navy using SR symbolism ( the double headed eagle) . We would rather our symbols not be used in this manner .

In my opinion, this occult aspect sells, so the promoters are using it up while they can. If next week, painting everyone pink sells, expect to see a run on pink paint. This is marketing 101 folks. Everyone has the option to turn the dial to the official mode, so nobody is forced to hear their "message". TPTB have an agenda, I don't doubt that, but I just don't think they are at this level. Watch the banking industry for a glimpse of the big boys. Music is run by sleazy backdoor money grubbers hell bent on exploiting the talent. again, IMHO.

Jayz works for the Rockefellers hence the label name Roccafella. Look it up. He sucks anyways. Always rapping about money, drugs, cars, bling, and hoes. No one with any intelligence listens to that crap. He was created by TPTB to distract the masses.

exactly. Doing it while it's a hot seller. You don't see the music industry pumping money into Duran Duran advertising anymore. Their day is done. It doesn't' matter who the mark is, or what the hook is, a new one will stand out as soon as the old one is done. That much will never change.

(the Duran Duran thing kind of dates me)

I think the music industry found a brilliant way to attract attention and revenue.

Think about it: when has the industry been original?

It's all about inspiring conversation folks. Move along...

Not if Jay Z started wearing them, in fact if he did I doubt I'd wear any of the shirts, t-shirts or jackets I have with the number '666' on them!

this is just someones idea on capitalizing on the POWERS THAT BE craze thats been going around.

Shepard Fairey has been doing this for years, and all his current art is heavily laced with it. is it because he is in the Illuminati or is he trying to send a message to the sheeple.

neither he trying to make money on everyones insecurities. same as roca wear

IMO Jayz and kanye suck their raps are lame anyways I wouldnt want them repping my brand. But a lot of people are buying into it. He calls himself Jhova he owns and represents rockafella, and now he is blatently using freemason symbolism. Personally I dont even think he is smart enough to make these connections and while I understand that he could just be using this for shock value only a few people would even recognize these things anyway. So are we agreeing that rockafellor is related to freemasonry or is Jayz and his producers just making this all up. Either way he is just a puppet tool they are always building him up in media and entertainment and he isnt even good at his so called craft.
