Strange Things.......

What an awful, perplexing thing to have after 11 years of no strange experiences. I really feel for you. And hello creepiness factor, when you mentioned the man who committed suicide 5 years ago. It may well have something to do with this man, his unresolved issues, or an entity his suicide has somehow brought forth. I know that moving sounds like the best option, but financially that is not always possible.

This poster really sounds like they know what they're talking about, I would definitely contact them to get further advice about who you can talk to locally. It's definitely not a situation I would ignore in the hope that it might go away eventually. I'd be keeping close track of the incidents; their frequency and whether they escalate.

In the short-term, showing no fear makes sense to me. Whenever I've been in a similar situation (which is not many times thankfully), saying "Leave now!" in a clear, strong (even slightly angry) voice has helped me, even if it's just psychologically.

An old friend of mine was fond of saying: "Only the living can hurt you" but feeling like you're not alone in your own home, and hearing things - nah, you can't live like that. Best of luck seeking further advice. Let us know how you go.

I agree, DrJay does seem to know what he's talking about, in fact I have experienced some of what he mentioned about a negative entity appearing out of nowhere. It's definitely a good idea to find out who or what this thing is before trying to get rid of it, if that's going to be your intention, and going about it in an appropriate and safe manner...

1king2rulethemall I'm interested in what documentary you may have been watching? Don't take it as me doubting what you say, I just think it's odd for actual incantations to be said over the TV and I'd like to check into that particular one if you know the name of it. And while I disagree with the statement that all spirits are evil, it's good to have an alternate viewpoint in here especially if that one is closer to what the OP already believes. I mean if the OP happens to also be a Christian, what you said will make more sense and be more effective for him than burning sage, etc in my opinion.

DrJay1975 has offered his assistance. If I were you I'd take it, he is very experienced in dealing with this kind of thing, I'm sure he'd be able to help you in some way.

I'm no expert, but I had some problems like that and eventually they stopped. I was trying to be a Christian at the time, so maybe that helped. I don't think you should have your house blessed or burn candles unless you already believe that those things work. I know my own experiences made me very confused and almost superstitious, and you should fight against that.

In my experience those paranormal things - demons? psychic manifestations of our subconscious fears? - whatever they are, they can't seem to harm us much. But they probably feed on our worries. Probably they are mostly focused on you, so you don't need to worry about your children or spouse.

I think these things go away on their own in time. Do things that make you relaxed and peaceful. Get plenty of sleep even if you have to take sleeping pills, because sleep deprivation would only add to the problem. I hope whatever you're experiencing ends soon.

Please understand my perspective when I say that I will not tell you what the name of the documentary is. I will NOT tell ANYONE what the name of it is. I do not wish for any other person to ever see it. I am not freaking out or being superstitious - I want people to know about the love, mercy and saving grace of The LORD JESUS CHRIST and the eternal life that HE gives freely - not about ways and means to oppose HIM.

I learnt that if you open it to much then anything will jump in ! I do not wish that for anyone.

Ok so I have tried to ignore the fact there is something in my home and now my youngest son noticed it the other night when he saw the same object I did. I see it every night but don't allow it to know I have seen it, it seems to be working very well as it has not closed anymore doors but has flickered the lights a couple of times.

I'm not a religous person and never will be (sorry to those that are) so praying will not be done. Objects have not been moved in the house so I'm not nervous about it being there at this stage but will keep a close eye on things.

THis comment is for 1kingtorulethemall. You state that the bible says that all spirits on earth are evil spirits. This is not only incorrect but if you take the bible at its word then you are also mistaken. The bible eliminates the possibility that spirit beings on earth are the spuls of deceased humans. YOu either go to heaven or hell there is no inbetween. The Bible identifies 2 types of spirit beings on earth, angels and demons. 1 is evil and 1 isn't.

John 4:1
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try [test] the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (2) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: (3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. But the Bible you read is not the original Bible as it was intended. THe original didn't have the resurrection in it. IT isn't even close to being accurate in the historical sense. SO the Bible you quote was assembled 315 years after the death of Jesus. It has been modified and adapted/altered many many times. The message changed with the beliefs of the church. THe Codex Sinaiticus is the oldest bible in existence, if you want to know what the original Bible said then read it, some of your views will change and you'll find yourself wondering what to believe in this present day version. Then do some historical research and you'll see a great deal of the Bible is flat out fabricated. All that being said it was never meant to be accepted verbatim anyway. But knowing all of that information you can't possibly not have doubts about the rest of the information within.

There are human spirits which are not demons. Their are spiritual beings which are not angels or demons. THe Catholic Church even accepts those statements as fact.

You say that the Bible eliminates the possibility that spirits on earth are from deceased humans. Exactly what I stated - they are CORRUPTED ANGELS and the offspring of a hybrid race between humans AND CORRUPTED ANGELS.

ALL contact with Angels in the Bible is for the benefit and glory of GOD. Common sense tells us that HAUNTING SOMEONES HOUSE doesn't fall into that category !!!!!! Lucifer ( who was the CHIEF angel originally ), wanted to BE GOD himself , and was cast from permanent residency in Heaven to dwell on the earth until his judgement. His hatred of GOD and all of HIS creation falls precisely into the category of evil. Hence - demons are on the earth.

What it is saying is that all those who confess with their mouths that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and SAVIOUR have had this truth revealed to them by GODS own spirit ( THE HOLY SPIRIT ) - the spirit of truth. All those who DO NOT confess JESUS CHRIST as their LORD and Saviour are led by spirits of error - the spirits of the world - the demons and evil spirits that dwell on the earth.

You claim that the original Bible didn't have the resurrection in it? - and you reference the codex sinaiticus? I believe that you have gotten confused with MARK 16:9-20. ( which is a longer version in which THE RESURRECTED JESUS appears to HIS followers ). The actual resurrection is told of from MARK 16:1-8 and it IS INCLUDED IN THE CODEX SINAITIUS.

You say that the Bible was assembled 315 years after JESUS? The 10 commandments ( written on stone tablets and carried around by Israel in the ark of the covenant for hundreds and hundreds of years ) were written 1400 years BC ! The Old Testament ( the hebrew bible ) was completed 500 BC. Then translated into greek ( septuagint ) at around 200 BC. The New Testament ( the original greek manuscripts ) were completed about 1 AD.



You say that the Bible is incorrect and not historically accurate? In the Old Testament alone there are over 300 prophecies ( the telling of the future by GOD through HIS chosen servants ) that have ALL been fulfilled. Christian AND NON CHRISTIAN sources confirm this as FACT. The FORTELLING of human history in the Bible is so accurate that many critics claim that they were written AFTER the events took place. But the fact that they were transcribed in 3 different languages by that time debunks their unfounded claims ! The whole history of the jewish people is confirmed in the Bible. ALL of the seven major empires that have dominated the planet since early man ARE LISTED ACCURATELY AND IN ORDER OF DOMINION in the Bible - some hundreds of years BEFORE they came to power !

The New testament contains the four gospels - which were written BY EYEWITNESSES or scribed by people TALKING TO THOSE EYEWITNESSES. After HIS death and crucifixion JESUS appeared to hundreds of people - he touched them, ate dinner with them, cooked breakfast for them, had them physically put their hands into his wounds to prove that HE was resurrected - all confirmed by eyewitnesses ! and written down as early as 35 AD. The resurrection of JESUS changed ALL OF HUMAN HISTORY FROM THAT POINT ONWARDS.

Do a study on the authenticity of the Holy Bible yourself. Don't just repeat what other people have said to you. Opinions are not based on fact - and when they are they become truth, not just opinions.

I also don't quite understand why you try to disprove the Bible and its truth, yet use scripture yourself to try and oppose my point of view ? and then use Catholic beliefs to back yourself. ( Do some research into the Roman Catholic church by the way - see what else they believe as fact and doctrine ! )

It has been made plain by the OP that he/she is not interested in my advice or would even consider it at all ( even though the spirit is now bothering the children in the house ), so there is no point me continuing any input into this thread. I will monitor it so I can follow the progress of the OP though, because I am genuinely concerned for the family.

OP, I know whatever is causing these paranormal things for you may not be the same as for me, but I just wanted to say that my problems mostly went away after a few weeks.

You're very welcome. I try to respect others' viewpoints whether I agree or not, especially when they're trying to help like you seem to be. The problem is that a lot of people seem to just jump in a thread and basically yell "I'm right and you're wrong, here's a Bible verse" at everyone and then leave.

As a former Christian, I understand that perspective all too well and I am not offended at all. The current Pagan in me though is a little disappointed. I kind of figured that would be your answer but I had to try anyway because I'm always looking for a new point of view or new knowledge. I like to hear and read anything about religion (or lack of it) because I can learn what others believe and why, see the similarities between beliefs systems, and it helps me sort out my own beliefs.

Anyway, not trying to derail the thread I just thought that deserved a reply.

Good to hear that things have calmed down some and I hope it continues to get better. IMO (and assuming it isn't "demonic") if you don't feed it your energy it may get bored and move on, since it seemingly showed up out of nowhere. But if you feel threatened by it or notice your emotions or personality starting to change for "no reason" (fear, depression, anxiety, anger) I hope you will go to an appropriate source of help as in finding an experienced person who can physically be there.

I had someone like that in my life for many years a while back. He was tall, dressed all in black, looked like a black shadow flitting around most of the time. However, he was not bad as I never felt nervous or scared in his presence. I actually felt 'watched over'. I do believe that is why he was here. I saw him as my guardian angel. My life at the time was not bad, but I had been recently divorced and was new to the dating science. Turns out one of the guys I dated was not such a nice person. I noticed my "man in black" was even more prominent when this guy was around.

Is there anything similar happening in your life?
