Yeah, that would def make the whole process easier

Nice to see the creators of Star Trek got it right with Anti-Matter. However I think design of the artificial gravity is more realistic with the spinning fuselage. Did anyone see how there was had a "cockpit" that was not spinning? Also he didn't get into the Shields to much, how they work, how much punishment they could take.

With the LHC in France and several similar designs in the US, the search for the "god particle" or higgs boson is most likely a mask. It's a race to the first "gram" of anti-matter. Which most likely end up in a weapon where have I seen this before...

But I digress, kickass design over all.

I always thought these kids had it right... I just wasn't too thrilled with what they found.

Might want to hit you with something that can get you off this planet. You just need to repel yourself from earth, very simple. So the whole UFO thing, they operate on crystals, they can be quartz crystals, iron crystals, or any kind of crystal because they have a good amount of energy.

But you still need a fusion or anti matter reactor to provide the power for the field. You need a LOT of power without adding a lot of weight with the reactor

Something like the Levitated Dipole Fusion Confinement unit they are working on at MIT. That uses HE3 for safe clean fusion

Too complicated too expensive...

Then just drop in a little piece of UnUnPentium and I will have enough power for the gravity generators



Just put two dots on a piece of paper, fold the paper till the dots touch. Now if your gravity ship is sitting at dot A, you simply move the short distance to dot B... and Voila... instant jump across space without hardly moving

I'm thinking way too far out the box on this one but here goes.

Perpetual motion device/generators for propulsion, using superpowered magnets in zero gravity.
There must be a way to create a continuous source of energy. What about magnets that rotate at a high velocity, sort of repeling each other, or a complex magnetic structure that connects to a device which outputs that energy into electric which could be stored and generated.
Every other source of energy could be drawn off that generator.

There is such a thing as Quantum levitation. I don't know how it works in zero gravity, or how magnets, let alone massive magnets would be working to dam electricity. But the idea is there.
