I'm always mystified at this "your sin is worse than my sin" mentality that some people have. There is no support whatsoever for any sin being any worse than another in the Bible, ALL sins are the same in God's eyes. "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags". The original Hebrew word used here refers to the rags that lepers would cover their puss- oozing sores with. The best we can do is not good enough to be with God. Jesus is the bridge between us and God. The whole message of the Bible can be summed up that easily- we've ALL sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and it's only through Christ that we are redeemed and found worthy, and by the grace of God, "Not of works, lest any man should boast." These people that condemn homosexuality are clueless, I bet a list of their own sins would fill volumes. And if they think their sins are "better" than someone else's, then I suggest they go back and read the Bible a little more attentively.

On top of that there are only a few Bible passages that touch on homosexuality at all (1 Timothy 1:10, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Romans 1:18-27). The real meaning of these passages has been long debated, but it's generally agreed that they're referring to perverted behavior in general as opposed to referring to a monogamous gay relationship. And it should be noted that all these passages are in the words of Christ's disciples, there is no record of either Jesus or God condemning homosexuality.

Interesting, but wasn't Jesus the "Son of God"? As I recall, it was God, not Jesus, who told Lot to leave Sodom. Actually, Jesus wouldn't have been conceived by God for another thousand or so years. So, that's strike 1 against this.

Jesus has always existed:

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

If there's any confusion about who the "Word" is (it's not the Bible):

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Don't you know you're supposed to wait until after a disaster before blaming it on god? That way your assertion can't be "completely" disproved.

Jesus offended people all of the time because people were offending God. Consider the cities of San Fransisco and New York City instead of Korazin and Bethsaida for some modern day context. Admittedly, Jesus himself is not physically walking amongst these cities today but he is certainly being preached.

MT 11:20 Then Jesus began to denounce the cities in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent. "Woe to you, Korazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the skies? No, you will go down to the depths. If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you."

MT 21:12 Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. "It is written," he said to them, " `My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a `den of robbers.' "

What about mixing fabrics?

Oh, these abominations unto Nuggan make my head spin.

I'm assuming you don't believe in God based on your flippant post, but if you did then surely you would agree that He is a pure and perfect entity, I personally like the Ontological Argument description because it's so simple- "a being than which no greater can be conceived". So if you start as that for your baseline, that God is absolute perfection, then you must measure what you read against that. So for example, if you read that God prohibits the consumption of shellfish then you're left with only a couple of possibilities:

- God decreed this for reasons that don't make sense to us (or apply to us) now, IE, perhaps in that age when they didn't have fridges and freezers it was dangerous to consume shellfish.

- God never said it at all, men stuck that into the Bible for their own reasons.

Atheists grope at stuff like this to reach a 3rd conclusion, that it is somehow "proof" that God doesn't exist. Their reasoning is that a pure and perfect God wouldn't say such a thing, so since it's in the Bible then a pure and perfect God doesn't exist. Frankly I've always found that reasoning silly because they're using a document that they dismiss outright to begin with as their only support. And as the Ontological Argument demonstrates, one doesn't need the Bible at all to conclude that God exists.

Are the sins being commited in NY or SF greater than the sins in Farmville, Va or Savannah, Ga or Valentine,Neb ?

Why not destroy Amarillo, Tx or Elizabeth City, NC....

All sins are equally terrible and tragic.... to lust is to commit adultery. To wish someone dead is likened to murder... The only difference between NY or SF and Mountain City, Tn is the size of the city....

Would God not judge a gay sinner and a straight sinner equally? Would a strip club be held any more accountable than a church with extravagant stained glass windows but no programs for the poor in the community?

We are all sinners and all equally accountable...there in lies the beauty in God and Christ... He forgives freely...including someone so unworthy as myself... and all we have to do is follow Him, know Him, love Him, and trust Him.

Some say it is all a fairy tale... OK. When my days are done and I lived my life as a Christian... true or not...the worst that can be said of me is ...He was generous, giving and forgiving, tolerant, loving, truthful, non-judgmental, humble, hard working, a loving father and husband... and all of these things he did as a Christian...That's pretty good.

Pictures or it never happened.
Where did he say that? In Galilee 2000 years ago?
You're fooling yourself.

Maybe I missed that in the Bible (possibly it's in the same chapter as the rapture).
Tell me where it is, please.
Really. Earnestly. Show me where a carpenter from Galilee said that and I'm all ears.

Not mocking, just calling you out.
I call BS. Please prove me wrong.

Badgered,
The Gospel applies to the entire world and our times.

There are several Scripture verse about the mortal sin of fornication. My parents knew that... My generation said no. I posted 1Corinthians 6:9 after you asked.

Sexual sins today are denied and 99% of sexual sins are mortal, meaning they must be repented of and confessed to God. You can't die in mortal sin. Our times, everything is accepted and fifty years of bad or no catechesis so the loss of faith.

The homosexual "act", sodomy is a mortal sin. There are two places in Scripture that
state there are sodomites in hell. The "act" has always been an abomination to God.
Repent of the "act" with true contrition confess this mortal sin to God.

2 Peter 2:4-6
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment: 5 And spared not the original world, but preserved Noe, the eighth person, the preacher of justice, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. 6 And reducing the cities of the Sodomites, and of the Gomorrhites, into ashes, condemned them to be overthrown, making them an example to those that should after act wickedly.

2 Peter 2:4-6: Peter also reveals that the Sodomites are suffering in hell for their sins by comparing the Sodomites’ punishment to the eternal punishment of the evil angels. Just as God did not spare the angels when they sinned but cast them into hell, so He did the same with the Sodomites when He “condemned them to extinction and made them an example to those who were to be ungodly.”

Jude 5 I will therefore admonish you, though ye once knew all things, that Jesus, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, did afterwards destroy them that believed not: 6 And the angels who kept not their principality, but forsook their own habitation, he hath reserved under darkness in everlasting chains, unto the judgment of the great day. 7 As Sodom and Gomorrha, and the neighbouring cities, in like manner, having given themselves to fornication, and going after other flesh, were made an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.

Jude 5-7: Like Peter, Jude confirms that the Sodomites are in hell by saying that they had the same fate as the evil angels. Jude says just as the evil angels were condemned to hell, the Sodomites “likewise” (Greek, hos) acted immorally and are undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. “Undergoing” (Greek, upechousai) is a present participle which means their suffering is ongoing. See also the clear polarity between those who are saved (v.5) and those who are condemned (vv. 6-7,11,13).

Hi there AlreadyGone,

Really, I am not trying to argue, I simply believe the messages from Heaven. Judgment
is coming down on our country. We're seeing it. New York and San Francisco because their sins are greater. It has been said in other messages, not in this particular one,
New York is the place in the U.S. where the most abortions are performed.

All sins are equal is NOT true. How could that be? Some sins are of grave matter, it would
be unjust to say they are all the same. As a Catholic I know in lessor sins called venial
sin, we still retain God's presence in our soul...His grace. But serious sins, called mortal
sin we lose God in our soul. Makes sense, God can't be where sin is...

Daily prayer and regular confession, these two, Heaven is pleading with the world to do.

Excuse me, people asked, where is that in Scripture? Bohemian, God makes explicit
through prophecy His Word. The Written and the Oral (tradition) and throughout history,
the Magisterial teachings of the Church.

The non-Catholic Christian and Catholic Christian prophetic are saying the same thing
because there is one end time.

alkesh,
Why comment if you don't believe? I think the message fits, it is a prophecy from Jesus and the forum has the word prophecies in it. It's tough to read because the message sounds more urgent. It has been prophesied for a long time.

Keep on laughing. God is NOT mocked. If I were you, I'd go and repent right now and ask Jesus into your heart. Now. Before its too late.

Well God is Love. And the leaders already know all of the things coming, they're in Denver, and they make God into a pyramid control type, so I guess this is called disinfo. They really want to pave the way for their Fascism.

Many of us can see through all of this.

May the Spirit of Peace and Love be with you in the name of Christ Jesus.
