Why would jesus stop with just New York & San Francisco ? Why just american cities? Could it possibly be that in the bible there were two (2) cities destroyed ? And if in the bible it would been more than two cities. Then this prediction would probally mirror that number.

And why just the two mentioned ? Maybe because it's the ones the christian right most equate with the biblical cities mentioned. I'm sure jesus could find some more cities to smite . Hong Kong, Amsterdame, Tokyo, LA, come to mind.

What about Rome? That is where the folks came from that killed him. What about Kernersville N.C. I have allways really hated that little town.

Look I do not mean to be rude but Jesus was about repentance and forgiveness. In fact, Jesus forgave those whose societal sins were deemed the most abhorrent. What makes you think being homosexual is more of a sin than a murderer, prostitute or liar? It is my understanding that Jesus is the forgiver and the saviour. As far as I know he does not mete out God's wrath or his Justice. God is capable of doing that on his own. So my guess is that this "message" did not come from Jesus and was designed to keep people Jesus bashing so they take there eyes of what is really important.
Ps, I am sure if Jesus wants to send a message to his faithful, he would speak to their hearts directly, not use the internet.

I didn't say it was off topic. I just wanted to know how you narrowed down demon possession to the Catholics? I would think Pentecostal would be just as prone with all that handling of serpents and speaking in tongues and what not.

That they systematically abuse not only their positions, but the public face of your faith (as a whole), is a matter of public scrutiny. Had the OP muttered to himself that he hates homosexuals, nobody would have given him the time of day. Instead, he stated, quite categorically, that Jesus himself hates gay people, and especially those who live in those particular cities. He stated it as fact, and was duly reminded of his folly.
That goes for the rest of that list too. They spouted hatred for homosexuality publicly, but secretly enjoyed that lifestyle.

Faith is a wonderful thing. Religions not so much. If you take comfort in your faith, and find the words of whichever Holy book you prefer to be sacred, then I wish you nothing but good. If you choose to follow the words of men who have proven themselves to be corrupt for millenniae, then I personally think you are doing yourself a disservice.

England has been aroung for hundreds of years, Homosexuality is ingrained it in. Please.... If god was gonna do anything about homosexuality he certainly would of struck there down first.

The thing that is missing from all interpretations of scripture is reason. We have right and wrong spelled out but the reasoning behind why some things are against God (and apparently against reason) isn't evident. That evidence manifests itself once you give yourself over to God in Faith. It is a small gesture to show a bl;ind Faith and yet why do so many refuse it like it means having a root canal?

I said a silent Prayer once that got answered immediately and left me knowing truth. I was alone aside from my stepson who had shot himself. He was gone, nothing I could ever say or do could change that and yet I was at a point of vent or explode when his ex showed up with the will after throwing him to the curb in spirit by making private text messages to someone else at 4AM.

Long story shirt I said a silent Prayer, first acknowledging to God I didnt know what to Pray for I then saw I was starting to lose my composure so I "thought" simply, "I Pray for calm"

Out of all the people I talked to on various forums, in rl at church or on the street I had met only one other person who had this Prayer answered and she was on her way to the hospital where her husband was being taken due to a bad wreck.

It was answered and left me knowing it was supernatural. It started at the top of my head and felt like a pressure when you dive deep. Disconcerting at first I thought I was having a stroke. As it "slowly and uniformly" made its way down, and so slow I knew it was controlled, I was then amazed and by the time it was at my knees, I was filled with all the love, forgiveness, understanding, and most importantly was a clarity of thought. .I knew what I had to do but I was also filled with a serenity I never knew before. I felt like I was touched by the hand of God, like I was connected to the universal love that God is and also was left with a kind of intuition or discernment of what spirituality actually means. I started picking up the Bible again and am always understanding more and more the reason behind God and His will in all things.

I started at the book of Genesis and in the Garden of Eden I saw the forbidden fruit differently. It is the fruit of the tree of knowledge but that knowledge wasn't earthly. That bite was sexual in nature and the entire Bible is against fornication so the issue is one of reason and there is a reason behind everything God does or has done.

So Adam and Eve were ashamed and hid themselves with fig leaves because they knew they were naked. Only after an orgasm would that shame have manifested so why is God against the human orgasm?

The reason behind that I won't divulge other than to say that the human orgasm is more than a physical release and anyone who has had an orgasm knows the intensity of the feeling is beyond physical release it occurs within the brain as well...

Now the Catholic church used to require celibacy up until a point... Vatican 2? I dunno as I am not Catholic and call no man father but Lord God.. The entire Catholic Faith has been stolen by evil and it became evident during the October 1958 Enclave where white smoke appeared then a half hour later black smoke appeared. which contradicted the original message of a new Pope being chosen.

To this day the Catholics are drifting further away from Faith by a systematic dismantling of belief on all fronts, financial, moral, ethical, and spiritual.

If gay couples can marry then they can claim as one household where different rules and tax breaks apply
