My guess is that maybe they don't want to find it, or maybe it wasn't a satellite after all. I just don't know, but it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't want it to be found. With all the technology and tracking data we have today, it stands to reason that it would be found. I realize they are still finding pieces of the shuttle Columbia, but for the most part they have found it. Why wasn't a concerted effort to destroy this thing in space, or find another alternative to retrieve it, or even put a black box in it? I am sure that NASA is competent enough to know and find where this satellite ended up. Perhaps its a false flag for something else, perhaps not. I suppose time will tell.

From what I recall they had lost communication with the satellite so no tracking capabilities and that's why they couldn't do it in space.

Does nobody not remember the space station that came down like 10 years ago

This is nothing. Its junk. They don't care if little debris is found. Its just useless junk now.

They could of destroyed it like the Navy did in 2008. Navy to Shoot Down Malfunctioning Satellite

I always thought that event was strange. It contained a toxic chemical but why go through the effort.

"If the military did not shoot down the satellite, the hydrazine would disperse over an area roughly the size of two football fields, the general said. Those who breathed it would need medical attention."

A false flag would imply they wanted the majority of the population to either look up in the sky, or be afraid that satellites are crashing down on us.

An expected arrival of an alien spacecraft or stray piece of elenin could be covered up by stating there is a satellite about to deorbit.

There is already too much space junk up there already. The Chinese have already got it in the ear for destroying a satellite in this way for that reason, (it doesn't matter of course, that the US navy had done it previously)

I don't see how a bit of Elenin would get here before the rest, though I do think it is remarkably candid of NASA to admit to not actually knowing exactly where it came down, well, as yet anyway.

That so, if anything is found, it will be more likely by a third party, and any video so far is open to question.

Even I was off actually. To put it clearer,

False flag (aka Black Flag) operations are covert operations designed to deceive the public in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities.

I think the correct term would be diversion.

I suppose a diversion that makes one thing seem to be another could be termed a false flag?

In this example the event falsely flagged as manmade debris when in fact it is something much more sinister.
