Anonymous planning "Day of Vengeance" around the USA TOMORROW Sept. 24th 2011

Hacktivist group Anonymous is planning to hold a special "Day of Vengeance" in several cities around the U.S. on Saturday.
Late last night, Anonymous--or at least people claiming to be from Anonymous--posted a press release on Pastebin, saying that Saturday will be marked by peaceful protests in cities across the U.S. combined with cyberattacks on "various targets, including Wall Street, Corrupt Banking Institutions, and the New York City Police Department."

The coincidence level has officially blown off the roof this time if you've been following various threads on predictions and events surrounding this particular weekend.

Still, it'll be interesting to see how this weekend turns out and the effect on Wall Street and the Global Economy on Monday.

I think you guys are reading way way way too much into everything.......

Its good to connect dots, but its counter productive to look so hard you find things that arent there.......

i dont think it takes a paranoid conspiracy theorist to smell something fishy about the coming week.

I'll be the first to eat crow if I'm wrong but my prediction is that nothing substantial will happen. Just like every other week-weekend that threads on ATS predict bad things will happen.
MY Predictions:
Saints will eak out a victory over Texans and LSU will beat the crizzap out of WVU. Other than that, it will rain somewhere, a politician will say something stupid, your tax money will be used for something ridiculous, and several people will die around the world. BUT, it will be offset, because several others will be born! Crazy stuff, I know.
Now a reeeaaallly wild prediction would be one that predicted a lot of nice things happening at any given time. THAT would be a risky prediction!

Yep. The synchronicity of events is off the charts this particular weekend and the following week.

IMHO something bad is just begging to happen...

Theres actualy one thing that is going on at the moment and its somehow related to what Anom is doing.
Its how we are heading straight forward into a market crash. Its surely less sexy than a war game or a comet but its a fact. IMO, its a good idea to focus on wall street.

I really don't follow cyber criminals... but I suppose that someday, those who eventually grow up will all write books about those years of stupidity and make a fortune from the same system they once worked so hard to disrupt.

I support Anon when they have a moral purpose, like stopping the evil cult of $cientology. And it should be remembered that these hacktivists are not the same people who attack your WordPress blog and divert all your visitors to a porn site.

But, it should be said that anyone can claim to be speaking for Anon, and the number of times I've seen these things and then nothing has happened...

I'll believe that Anon will do something when I see reports of it actually happening, until then it's more likely a 12 year old on his dads PC who's just watched Pump Up The Volume for the first time.

Anonymous & the other cyber liberation groups around the world together with all the freedom loving people in the USA will NOT stand for this. We will peacefully yet forcefully resist the abuses of the NYC Police Department.
