I don't mean to go off topic by asking this, but am I the only one who has a hard time logging on to sites that aren't domestic? (I'm in the US) I used to like to pull up local news sites from Europe and Asia and it seems like anything that doesn't end in .com, .net, or .org gets rerouted... Just wondering its was something to do with Net-Neutrallity?

It's true. People will bitch and moan but not really do anything because of fear/laziness, etc. but maybe if they actually started controlling what we can say or view online, MAYBE we will do something about it...

Let's face it, the internet is one of the last bastions of freedom left.

Government puppets are all controlled by the same guys, media owned by the same, etc. Only some shred of free thought remains online. And of course in real life face to face talks but since most of us are too afraid to speak openly about this stuff in public without getting arrested or being labeled a terrorist, the internet is a better platform as far as learning, seeing different opinions and knowing YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

That's why I'm so concerned about net neutrality.

TSA, Patriot Act, they are for "our" safety. ur protection. All the while, removing freedom and liberties. SO, stated that we have nothing to fear. Since this is his business, I'll agree with him.

But I'll still wish to retain a small measure of sceptcism.

China blocks their internet for the "protection" of its citizens as well my question to you is when the government blocks porn will you be ok with it or should the net remain completely neutral?
i for one will not be lol but not relevant here what i am saying is our governments history is that of catholic beliefs strictly usually ie gay marriage, prohibition, even woman rights (don't attack me for that i'm sorry but it is in fact in the bible as a woman is inferior i do NOT believe in it therefore my wife is equal or even above me cause she puts up with me),even polygamy is outlawed (would love another wife to yell at me)

1 Timothy 2:11-15

11 A woman[a] should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15 But women[c] will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety. (i included the scripture so you could see why i put women rights into the argument

our government only folds after years of protest why? because our laws are or intertwined with our religion even though its unconstitutional. Putting these people in charge of our internet will be the death of free information exchange. And i for one will fight to the death to keep what little bit of info we have free from those who wish to censor it.

Thanks for making me feel better.

I'm paying 39.99 (40 bucks, let's be real) for internet through Cox Cable and thought it was a rip off.

Now that I can compare, I'm thankful.
