I've noticed a few similarities between Germany and the book Fahrenheit(spelling?) 451.

1.

During the recent elections in Germany(a year ago?) the opposition to Schroeder said he dyes his hair. This was a huge deal in Germany and from what I hear, it would have cost him a lot of votes. Schroeder even filed a court order to have this information suppressed!

During the elections in the book, Montague's wife was basing her opinion on the name of the guys running and also on their appearence. She voted for some tall, handsome guy and wondered why they would even have a bald short guy running against him.

2.

In Germany they outlaw many violent video games and movies. In many cases it's political, with the video games coming from the U.S. or showing different political views. Even some information about Hitler is outlawed!

In the book they outlaw books of all kinds and frown upon media and other such things which show different political views.

I encourage everyone to read Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451" so we don't end up like the Socialist Republic of Germa

Sorry if parts of my post are incoherent or if the spelling is horrid. I'm very tired right now..

Socialist Republic of Germa? (Germany
)

No way...they are still Nazis through and through.

They just need a spark, some oaf with charisma and BOOM, Nazi Germany running around all over again.

We brought the Democracy, but obviously, (and probably helped by the agitation by France) our De-Nazification efforts have failed.

France shows horrible anti-semitic tendencies and it probably is going to end up spilling into Germany and then BLOWING out of control.
