You're right, this has been going on in some school districts already without parental permission.

I'm only guessing that now it will be more widespread voiding of parental rights.

I have heard it said more than once: Once a child enters the school building, parental rights no longer exist.

Here is the law. Perhaps you can find the provision which says that school officials can vaccinate children against parents' wishes. I can't.

So, I guess all the parents' stories in these books did not happen:

Furthermore, how many of these kids just go along because of fear of authority (school personnel) or peer pressure?
Sorry, if that was my kid, living under my roof, I'd be looking for alternatives to public school.

I thought we were discussing the "new" law. There is no provision in the law which denies a parent's right to consent, much less going against parent's wishes. Minors are allowed to consent only under certain conditions. The video in the OP is a gross distortion of what the law (more properly a very minor amendment to an existing law) entails.

My daughter is in private school but while she was in public school my consent was required for any medical treatment (including the dispensing of tylenol).

This amounts to nothing more than the usual cooked-up, right-wing drama that I have come to expect. I would say "let's see how many more facts they can distort"; however, I know the answer...100% of them.

It's already been said; however, it bears repeating...show me the provision that explicitly states the proclamation of the OP.

Maybe polio is a vaccine that parents would consent to... Gardasil is NOT!
