I got this message about not editing wiki pages

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write practically anything you want. --William S. Saturn (talk) 00:43, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

this is what i was putting in the article

This presidential primary is one of only a few in history that have one candidate that stands out above the rest, Ron Paul. Ron Paul seems to care more about the American people and supporting the constitution than any of the other candidates. For anyone who loves America, Ron Paul is clearly the best choice at this point in time.

Love your avatar. Too bad wiki is so fast on the draw. Remind you of a particular internet forum?

Once I was checking out the wikipedia entry on Blackwater, and in the expanded section there was a line saying how conspiracy theorists are always making up stupid statements, not very non-biased at all, so I edited it to make fun of what they said, sort of like how one person writes on a bathroom wall, and then you write something funny next to it, so it read something like "conspiracy theorists make up lies about Blackwater (kind of like what I'm doing right now)" but lo and behold, in less than a day what I wrote in paranthesis was deleted. And this was in the comments section, not even in the main article. The so called independent wikipedia is completely swamped with these kinds of internet editors. Just another reason not to trust them completely.

You took your piece too far, an entire paragraph within the first paragraph. If you wanted to give Ron Paul a plug, you could've just added self-proclaimed champion of the constitution after they mentioned Ron Paul taking second in the Iowa straw poll. You could've also added that he and bachmann only had a statistical 1% difference.

These are both facts and likely irrefutable by wikipedia.
