It's supposed to help him "fact check" and deal with all the "smears" and "inaccuracies" out here in cyberspace.

One has to wonder what the obama election machine will do with the reports.

Could it be anything from an IRS audit to something worse in the middle of the night for anyone accused?

The response to the site has been less than stellar.

On Twitter, where the Web site has an account to help Obama supporters submit evidence of “attacks” on the president using the hashtag #attackwatch, nearly every tweet about the site — mostly from conservatives — has ridiculed it.

“There's a new Twitter account making President Obama look like a creepy, authoritarian nutjob,” an Arizonan tweeted. “In less than 24 hours, Attack Watch has become the biggest campaign joke in modern history

It’s safe to say that in its 24 hours of existence, Attack Watch has already backfired, becoming a tool for conservatives to use against Obama 2012. A tweet by conservative author Brad Thor summed up the critics’s argument: “Wow, not only are Obama & Co. incredibly thin-skinned, they're paranoid.”

There's even a commercial that's a parody of AttackWatch.com com out on the source I posted.

Remember how Dukakis' video of him riding standing up in an M1 Abrams tank while wearing a business suit (meant - I guess - to show he was interested in defense ) help cost him that election?

Maybe we are seeing obama's version of that election debacle unfold right now.

Because the way to establish the truth of your claim is to quash all discussion of it by ending the claim with the word "period".

I am glad this is all settled now.

What happened to Obama's Fight the Smears website?? www.fightthesmears.com... Oh yeah, that was from his 2008 campaign. Now he needs another Cry Baby site to save him in 2012. Let's call him Baby Raindrop.

Actually, this new site is becoming comedy fodder and rightfully so. Poor little Barry can't seem to defend himself or stand any criticism. How can the guy even stand to look at himself in the mirror every day.

I would think that Chicagoland Obama would be more apt to follow the Stop Snitchin thug culture. Think he'll earn their vote??

Wow!!! Has anyone read the Terms for Submission? It basically says that once you have submitted something to them, they have the right to change your statement to whatever they want. It goes on to say that they have the right to use any background information that they need to use in order make themselves look good. Basically you are signing over your voice to them and willingly becoming a puppet.

How has this guy not been thrown out of the country?

If it is about truth and setting the record straight, why would they need to edit your statement and not just give a response containing the facts?

His very own "See Something, Say Something". I am sensing a pattern here with him.
