Just as a side note, it is interesting to note that after trying so hard to oppose the war, France and Germany and trying to horn their way into the reconstruction contracts for Iraq. There are 2 reasons for this:

First, the reconstruction contracts are going to run into BILLIONS of $$$, and France and Germany would be interested in getting a piece of that pie. (Also, a bill was introduced today that would expressly deny any and all contractors affiliated with either country in any way to even be allowed to bid on contracts).

Second, if France and Germany get a big enough piece of the pie, they will have enough leverage during the reconstruction of the government to influence whether or not to replace the US dollar with the Euro for the Iraqi oil standard currency (which is the reason this war was fought). By extension, they would then attempt to force an OPEC vote to do the same thing.

Also, of interest, it is noted that Iraq currently has approximately $100 billion in debt, largely to France and Germany. It has been pointed out that during reconstruction and institution of a new government, such debts will likely be alleviated from the people of Iraq.... leaving France and Germany high and dry!!

Something I find very interesting: From Germany, I can sort of expect such a thing. (Not that I have anything against the German people, but thier government has managed to get the country into 2 world wars and seriously piss off most of the rest of the world over the last 100 years).

Now this is happening, with France right next to her... France finally showing her true colors?

France and Germany fit hand and glove.

Since the Napoleonic Wars, France lost all hatred with Germany. The old curse is falling. And the Holy Roman Empire may yet again resurface, we need only watch what Poland is doing.

I think...that the way things are going now...any nutbag who knows history can play the "Trumped" card, and rally French and Germans together.

These two nations were supposed to be forever seperated, because they fought a war to see who would be King of the Holy roman Empire and when the anointed King (the younger brother) was killed in battle against France and Prussia, before he died he layed his curse upon the people, to forever fight.

Any history nut, knowning that, can be the "savior" to end this curse, and to make France and Germany (Poland?) the "Super power of the World" and cast down the "evil americans".

Welcome back Nazism ~.~

And those French never lifted a finger to stop it either. They probably loved Nazism about as much as the Germans did.

Of course like any drug, right when you get off it you go "Oh that's so horrible, why did I ever do such a thing?"

Then of course later down the road you get hooked again, 10 times worse.

Germany didn't start two world wars. They didn't start WWI. Austria Hungry attacking the serbs because a serb killd the ArchDuke caused the war. Just that Ottoman Empire and Germany were their allies, so being allies went along with them.

But know what? FRANCH SUCKS!!!!!! When they win a war on their own, I'll start respecting them.
