...i can see a cross shape - and - if you look a bit wider, you can see a seahorse's head - and then - if i close one eye, i see a sorta kinda phoenix rising thang...

some pics are photo shopped, and others just take a lot of imagination to see it. im going out on a limb here but my best guess is this thing got dinked square in the dome with something and a build up of bone raised up to cover the cracked skull.

Violater1, I can kinda see the cross on the monkey head but your outlines ruin the whole thing ..And i don't understand the point your trying to get across to us at all..But finding a skull thats 1.98 Million years old that could be a missing link is very compelling ..Thank you for the thread and a S & F for puting the thread together at least you tryed..Peace,sugarcookie1

Awesome Point. I think people on both sides of the fence Christians or Science believers sometimes see way too much in something such as that cheese sandwich looks like the virgin Mary or there is a cross on that skull...

How about some real evidence of rather then conjecture and theory.

This is a stretch. It is on the bridge of the nose and around the sockets of the eyes. I feel like given time and erosion you would find skulls with this similar marking. It doesn't stand out enough for me to draw any conclusion here.

Folks, the cross predates Rome and Jesus by thousands of years. Its significance is far, far deeper than Jesus. The bible, and the story of Jesus, are just another encoded esoteric cult, with the majority of its believers being "profane" and uninitiated into its true Mysteries.

A coss (and variations of) is an incrediy simple shape that's going find symbolism in pretty much every culture at some point. That's as far as the meaning goes, it's of little (if any) significance.

a cross is essential just 2 straight lines that cross each other, if your looking for it your going to find them everywere

Well, this may come as a surprise to you, but maybe not everyone shares the same opinion as you do... I know, its scary, but after some time perhaps you might be able to learn to live in a habitat populated with many different types of people without being awestruck everytime you turn a corner...
