If I were married to Cammie I would welcome and pray for death too.

Lol. That's a nice one.
Though Prince Charles is right as the earth cannot sustain 7 billion, let alone 12 billion in 2025.
He has done a lot of good thru various charities for humanity.

The problem that I have with the idea of mass extinction and death is the fact that at some point in time/space life did indeed exist, and in that existence a species of humans where present. They took on the enduring challenge of existence and through trial and error evolved into a pretty amazing species of thinkers, dreamers and very real people.

Nothing can strip that from existence, and in a way it seems although random, careless and meaningless filled with purpose and you and me. So here we are, enduring existence right along with Prince Charles, his family and our families. Death simply a matter of fate, and of fact. We all die. Bravo Prince Charles! Bravo.

We also all live. And that is right now. I guess on ATS, on a Friday. Hopefully some of you brought beer.

I hope he becomes the example he attempts to lead with. No humility in his context.

And you see, you are part of the problem with that attitude. YOU SHOULD REALLY CARE!

For heavens sake, are you that zombified? Have you become so spiritually untuned to the world around you?

I agree with his statement but not his actions.

It is easy for a billionaire to give away a few million and right it off on tax, I respect more the person who earns a reasonable salary and gives away a chunk of it than the person who gives away millions he wont even notice.

I think what he is saying is great I just wish he would listen to himself and not live the life of an extravagant royal.

Sure he does alot of good, but so could you and I if we had the resources, we might even be able to do more.

I do agree that it smacks of hypocracy but I also agree that its better than the airhead celebrities who dont give a fig about these things.

So in my opinion I say well done Charles now you just have to learn to practice what you preach.

The deadbeat thinking that results in desparaging comments on Prince Charles is perhaps the most pathetic modern example of propaganda modern humans have ever had to endure.

He is a humanist and a patriot of the highest order.

Yet sneering snivelling rabid whining ignorant mindless puppets of the ptb, are intent on trying to convince the universe this fine example of humanity is evil or weak..

Prince Charles should have beeen King a long time ago....but the evil empire won't have it.

Charles if you are reading ATS ....know we love you ....us with a brain at least.

When biologist or scientist in general talk about an extinction event
generaly it doesn't refer to one species but many. those events which
couse rapid loss of many species. It's not a reference to humans or
their impending plight due to over population, that would be refered to
as the carring capacity. Dr David Sizoki (sorry about the spelling )
has some very interesting thoughts on that matter.
But the extinction event charles is refering to is the mass loss of species
due to human activity. I was in an ecology lecture 7 years
ago learning about this "extinction event" species are being
lost at an increadible rate.

these people are very arrogant if they believe they can implement their genocidal food-to-fuel programs to cause poverty and famine while openly advertising their depopulation plans at the same time. i mean, even the most gullible noob must at that point understand there's a connection.

anyway, for what it is worth, if they want war they could just bring it on, you know?! regular genocide would pry even the most devout sheep's eyes open and no one lives forever, so i'd rather get nuked than freeze to death or starve someday while the elitescum agree that it's our own fault.

I heard speak on television about such a thing and he said: 'One is errr...baffled at why, errr...so many should feel the need to consume so much errr...carbon expensive products. If-if-if more people were prepared to, errr...every now and then not to, errr...eat food with high carbon footprints and maybe settle for a spot of venison or pheasant from one of their estates it would benefit everybody. Similarly, if-if-if, errr...if travel is absolutely neccessary, it would help everybody if one of those golden horse-drawn carriages were used instead'.

No wonder people think he's out of touch.

Thinking about it - he might not have said that after all.

Sorry, I can't get thru even the first page without commenting. Everybody seems to have been sidetracked like a moth to a light bulb.

So what if Prince Charles is a hypocrite when what he is saying is essentially true???!!!
What is more important, that he is a hypocrite or that we are all going to die? How about we focus on the really important bit; instead of the person bashing. This ain't no soap opera.

I believe it is true that we are in the midst of an extinction event. Sure, the like of Princes and Queens need to change their habits, but we do too!

/end of rant

Hi chums, maybe, just maybe, he is giving us a whistle blower fact out of the NWO and helping us to prepare for the coming doom? He can't say it as it is as the PTB will kill him and his family. He is a decent chap and does care for this world. His life is run by these organisations and him coming out and saying this is to me a brave act.

I thought about this all evening and this morning. I have to say that there is indeed a problem with over population in the world, but with the warnings, there must be solutions offered. So here are my questions about options.

1: Which group of people are causing the over population?
2: If those groups are causing it, then should they be held accountable?
3: Should the world present them with this?
4: Would this lead to genocide?
5: Which group of people would get the honor of being allowed to live on?
6: Are we going to sanction groups of people for having children, or are we going to sanction them for resource consumption?

Is Prince Charles really talking about consumption, or his advocating the extinction of certain groups of people? When he begins to fear monger, then he has to explain his position. If the earth cannot sustain the population, then certainly drastic measures should be taken. But to whom does the honor go for wanton resource consumption without replenishment? People tend to fall back and blame the US for consumption, but we still have a very good agricultural system. We give millions of tons of food aid to other countries just as most European nations do. I believe much of South America also contributes.

But if we were to look at nations that are over populated, the two that get the highest honors are China and India. African nations are not so over populated as they have famines and genocide and live without the ability to produce food resources. China has instituted the one child policy per family and it led to human rights issues of killing girls. So sanctions do not work.

I say, to get his ideas to work, let's begin by growing crops in nations that do not have any means to do so. We are told that African nations do not have good water, yet I think if they made large, green-friendly water plants that transformed sea water into drinking water, that may work. After all, the oceans are rising. The shipping of that water should not cost much because they would not be shipping it far. The problem is to remove dictators from power that prevent their people from having food and water.

I think then that with a lot of hard work and money from billionaires like him, perhaps they can grow trees in Africa and grow grass to make it work. The only drawback is that if they did that, they would displace animals that are native to Africa. There are no easy solutions, for every pro there is a con. But Africa has a large desert that perhaps could be tamed with work. We don't know because no one ever tried. And with all that sand, Africa could have a large economy based on glass making, which we all know can be recycled, and they could ship sand for building materials. But the problems from that are corporations that take over and people become slaves. I think Africans could start their own corporations making glass. They could get protective status from the United Nations. I would go for that.

So in my view, I say work with Africa to tame the Sahara. No one knows it will work because no one ever tried.

Thanks for the link.

Last I remembered from Maurice Strong was when Jesse Ventura tracked him down in China and tried to get an interview regarding the CO2 global warming scam.

China seems like a strange place for an elite to be hiding out in. I guess he thinks he's too good for Canada now.

I checked the Bahai link: www.bahai.org

I liked one of their principle tenets:

We must investigate truths for ourselves, without preconceptions.

This would be a good alternate motto for ATS.
