Wow..just wow. This photo was taken by the robotic spacecraft Cassini, and looks like a painting. Taken from the dark side of Saturn, with the sun behind it. Truly amazing

Even when I look at Saturn with a telescope I have a hard time convincing myself it's not a cheesy special effect.
It's too weirdly beautiful to be real.

Just incredible.... Someday, maybe our children or their children will be able to view a scene like that out a window in person. The real views of space never cease to amaze!

Saturn is by far the most beautiful planet in our solar system.

Also can someone explain the broken outermost white ring of the inner rings?
I simply refuse to believe this is anything but more of the usual NASA computer
generated tomfoolery!
How much did it cost taxpayers again to snap this 'masterpiece'?
NASA my ARSE!!

The video is so surreal, I also saw it through yahoo's article.

I cropped the image to 1280x800 for a wall-paper, I also tweaked the contrast a bit.

The picture is BS.

NASA is caught with their pants down again.

If the picture is real then it is at least 5 years old.

Go to the 2:30 minute mark of this video:
