What lead to the events of 9/11 and why did the U.S. failed to act on that threat?

In commerated the 10th aniversay of 9/11, I created this thread to understand why lead to the 9/11 events and how did the U.S. failed to act on the threat and what did we do to make sure that the threat would happened on U.S. soil again like 9/11. I was debating this on class today what lead to 9/11, why did the U.S. failed to act on the threat and how it should be prevented? Who's resposible for this and why? From the 1990s to now. like isolationism, war on terror, Clinton, etc and so on.

Sometimes fact can be stranger than the fiction.

For 10 years the events of that day have been lingering in the background. For many years we have constantly heard and read in the media about '9/11 this', '9/11 that', War on Terror, Terror Attack.

For years we have had '9/11' burnt into our minds. We have been psychologically conditioned, we have been indoctrinated to remember. It was something important.

9/11 was not a terrorist attack. It was a warning of a future event. Look and you shall find.

12 Trillions worth of oil and gas to be controlled in the caspian sea lead to 911. Unocal, represented by Karzai, was in negotiations with the Taliban for a Trans-Afghanistan pipeline. Negotiations broke down. Then America had to go to Afghanistan. But a pearl harbour like event was needed to justify invasion. So the 911 false flag operation was kicked off, in the wake of which Karzai, who was in close contact with Unocal as mentioned earlier, became president of Afghanistan and has been reelected in 2009 in what has been said to be a fraudulent election.

It was designed to look like a terrorist attack to achieve a political agenda.

Iraq was always top of the agenda when it started trading oil in euros instaed of the mighty dollar. This peed off the US Government who needed a reason to invade iraq, lo and behold 911 was born and soon afte,r iraq took the kicking.
