Bulgaria--piece of Heaven!

Bulgar=mixed. That meaning is still embodied in the country called Bulgaria. A mix of gorgeous and mystical mountains, virging and exploited beaches, ancient and modern cities, Middle Age monasteries, friendly people, myths of Greek, Bulgarian, Thracian, Skythian, Slavic gods, heroes and people. It has always been a crossroad between the East and the West, between the oriental and the modern. It is a country which has never pretended to be world famous and at the same time it is a place where you can see how the great countries tried to twist history. However, the truth still lays there....the truth which many tried to hide.....
Bulgaria is not a destination...it is an experience........
