There's a 2012 GOP strawpoll ongoing on strawpoll.info, roughly 42.000 voted and the temporary results is like this:

Mitt Romney 12013 (31.34%)
Ron Paul 11980 (31.25%)
Herman Cain 9900 (25.82%)
Sarah Palin 4666 (12.17%)
Michele Bachmann 1248 (3.26%)
Gary Johnson 1235 (3.22%)
Tim Pawlenty 799 (2.08%)
Newt Gingrich 205 (0.53%)

Current result in this poll is a bit diffrent to ATS republican GOP poll and it seams to me like they forgot Rick Perry on the list.
I dont know how many uses strawpoll.info, but 42.000 votes is a ok number to do some analyze. The poll is still open and you can vote on here if you wish.

Has Sarah Palin officially announced she's in the race? I can't believe that woman has as many votes as she does. America is truly home to the stupid

Believe she want too but Its not officiel yet.

Sarah Palin will run for the White House in 2012 and conduct an "unorthodox, grassroots campaign the likes of which you've never seen", the man organising her campaign in Iowa said.

Sarah Palin 'will run for White House in 2012'

Then again...time is running out for her.

Palin may want to run for president or she may want to be a party kingmaker—but she may have lost her chance to do either Source

The poll doesn't even have Rick Perry, which would change everything.
