'The owl' on one dollar bill?

the "owl" is located in the upper right hand "1" area, on top of the "1"'s shield on the top left hand side. in the dip next to the leaf. it looks more like a cartoon spider than anything.

Wow this thread is really food for thought, personally I do think its possible there is something sinister to it, but at the same time, I know the opposite is possible, off to reseearch more I go

I would add Owl = Athena = Minerva

Goddess of Wisdom, Virginity and War. Also symbolic for owls, serpents and web or weaving.

Also the eagle is a symbol for Jupiter (Zeus).
