So around appx, 820pm this evening in albuquerque nm my husband and I were talking at home and all of a sudden we heard what at first what sounded like dumpsters being dropped across the street. It then started to get louder and was obviously not dumpsters, but whAt sounded, like mortars or the transistors exploding, and or all out war. After about five minutes of this we decided to call it in and the 911 dispatch said that she was sending them right away. The sounds got so loud that, our windows were rattling and our floors actually shook as well. Around 845 I went outside and saw that,it was actually fireworks.
On Sunday, September 4, 2011, the Albuquerque Country Club will be hosting for their members their 4th Annual Labor Day Fireworks display. The fireworks display will begin at approximately 8:00 p.m. (or dusk) and should be finished at approximately 9:00 p.m.
The Albuquerque Country Club would like to remind all their neighbors to take the appropriate measures to safe guard their pets. The fireworks display will possibly be loud and this may frighten pets.
